53- Hall 21

"Combat... That's nice. You could be a lot more useful now." Audrey remarked and looked at Theo. "What do you think? What Vita must have chosen? I hope she has chosen Archery just like me."

Theo raised his shoulders, "I don't know, however, by the looks of it when we mentioned Archery before, she didn't seem too affectionate towards it."

Audrey sighed at Theo's reply. "Why isn't she coming out of her room? I am dying by all the suspense."

Suddenly the wooden door of Vita's room opened and she came out in a light yellow robe. Looking at the three sitting in the hall, she came and sat near Audrey. She looked at Ambrose with hostile eyes.

A big smile formed on Audrey's face, as she moved near Vita. "I didn't ask you before, however, now tell me which special class you have chosen?" There was hope in her eyes.

Vita looked away from her eyes, "Pill Crafting," she said and turned silent. She knew that Audrey wanted her to choose Archery so both of them could learn in the same class and help each other out. Slowly she turned her head again and saw that Audrey didn't change much in her facial expressions.

"That's good, It's your choice after all. I wish we could have studied in the same class, then we would be best friends." Audrey then stood up.

"I will leave for my home now, I hope to see you all tomorrow." She said and started moving towards the front door.

Vita read her emotions from behind and saw that she was not that disappointed and was relaxed. 'She is not as needy as I expected. She got over it reasonably quickly.' Vita relaxed and also stood up.

"I will also go home for now and will directly come to the apartment after tomorrows class, see you guys there." She said to both of them and also left the Apartment.

Theo then relaxed on the sofa and looked at Ambrose. "Are you also planning to go home?"

Ambrose wobbled his head. "No. I will adjust here for now." He also relaxed on the sofa.

"That's good, I didn't want to be the only one that remained in the Apartment. It would have been quite boring." Theo placed his legs on the low table in front of him.

Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author.

"Alone? What about Constant? Is he already gone?"

"Yes, he left even before you came out of your room. Audrey was waiting for Vita or she would have also left with him."

Ambrose nodded and then chatted more till evening. After that, they left towards the Academy canteen for dinner. Coming back to the Apartment and just as they stepped in their badges buzzed.

Ambrose and Theo looked at each other and then took out their badges. "Details of our special classes tomorrow..." Theo said out loud and started reading the information.

Ambrose also looked, 'Hall 21 For first-year combat classes, tomorrow at the first bell.' He read and nodded, he understood what he needed to do. He just needed to reach this Hall 21 for the combat classes.

He then read more and it was information about their compulsory mission of this month. 'At the south of golden Falcon Academy, there is a small bunker infested by secondary trolls bring in their heads for the mission completion and rewards.' After that location was written in perfect detail.

Ambrose raised his head and looked at Theo, "Secondary Trolls?" He asked although he knew what trolls were he didn't know what secondary meant.

Theo also looked at him with a worried face. "Killing demons on our first mission? I didn't know it would be this hard in the academy. Trolls are the race of demons, they are big and intelligent creatures and could be very dangerous."

"However, secondary Trolls are mutated form of this race and are much more common in the wilderness. Although they are smaller and weaker than real Trolls, they could be a problem in big numbers."

"I think we can handle them if we work as a team," Ambrose stated.

Theo nodded at his words. "Yes, if we work as a team." He then started to move towards his room. "I will be going to my room and rest for tomorrow's classes. I don't wanna be late on my first day."

Ambrose also moved towards his room after Theo, he also didn't wanna be late, however, he knew that sleeping would be hard for him by all the excitement.

Soon enough both of them slept and morning came awake. Taking a bath Ambrose bid goodbye to Theo and quickly moved out of his dorms and towards the Voilet Academy Building. Theo was a bit late waking up, turns out he didn't sleep on time because of excitement.

Moving from buildings to buildings, Ambrose looked for Hall 21, however, he was unable to find it as he was unfamiliar with this place. He saw a guy in violet Robe in front of him and moved close to him.

"Hello, can you tell me where is Hall number 21 is?"

The guy with light stubble looked at Ambrose and saw that he was not wearing any coloured robes. "Are you new here?" He asked.

"Yes, this is my first day."

The guy nodded, "I am John, what is your name?"

"Ambrose."

"Ok Ambrose, so you want to find Hall 21. Just go upstairs from left here and then go in a straight line the second room in the hallway should be the one you are searching for." The guy said with a smile.

"Thank you so much, John." Ambrose smiled and then excused himself, he went straight towards the second floor of the building and there, the second room was, hall 21 written on it.

Peaking his neck inside he saw many students already standing in the giant place. There were at least twenty students already present there. Ambrose entered silently and stood at a corner. Although some students noticed him, none of them paid attention for more than a few seconds, as Ambrose looked like every other average Joe.

Ambrose noticed that almost half of the students already have Violet Robes, however, not everyone. Some of them still had normal clothes on. 'Looks like they are previous years student. They haven't ascended a single colour out of seven in one year. By the looks of it, Ascending colours must be a lot harder than it seems.'

Ambrose could tell that he was pretty weak among the group, all of them looked vibrant and dangerous. He has come to this point only with the help of his mechas, however, here they will not be useful anymore.

'I have to train hard if I want to stand any chance against them.'

And the bigger problem was that most of the people who selected combat were already somewhat proficient in it. Not like Ambrose, who knows nothing about it.
