The darkened sky was showered by rain which shimmered across the brightly lit moon. A man covered in blood and sweat looked with a blue expression that was complemented with tearful sounds of raindrops. The deed was done, the orb was obtained and Drake’s former friend/teammate layed on the floor melting in what seemed to be her own corruption. Just a few moments ago they fought for the very thing that their master wanted, the orb of light, a powerful artifact left behind from wars of old. The result of their battle for the artifact left Drake’s mind filled with prying thoughts of betrayal. Originally it was believed that his friend Tina’s defect was due to the orb’s influence but after their battle, the theory was proved wrong. It was clear now that Tina’s rebellion wasn’t driven by selfless desire but righteousness intended. The light orb wasn’t a holy device that could change the world for the better but a weapon of mass destruction if put in the wrong hands the future would be washed away. Before the battle started Tina attempted to warn Drake of their master's evil intent and instead of listening, Drake annoyingly refused to accept such a thought. After all, his master was a hero known by all, if it wasn’t for him then the world would have burned years ago. However, now things have changed and Tina’s own corrupted destruction was enough to reveal to Drake what has been hidden all along. Drake turned his gaze from what was left of Tina to the orb floating among the ruin. With a darkened face he picked up his sword from the cold grass and slowly walked toward the dreaded object. Without hestionan he raised his sword high in the sky and prepared himself for a hard slash. Knowing the artifact wouldn’t go down with such a normal hit he charged his sword with a blue aura and did the deed. However, before his sword could make contact with the orb a figure in the background commanded Drake to stop. The person screamed was left unheard and Drake continued with his assault slicing the orb clean in half. Due to the orb being broken an unexpected release of energy oozes out creating the catalyst for a huge explosion. When the dust cleared the figure appeared from the veils of the dust clouds. The figure pulled a device from the burned clothing and said, “Mission report the light orb was destroyed and the traitor Tina was eliminated”. A voice coming from the strange device asked, “and what of Drake?” The figure replies, “He’s gone, everything happened as you expected master”. A timid chuckle was heard from the device and the person from the other side replied, “We can worry about him later, for now, it's time for the ordeal to be intact”.
