The Enchanted Grove
A mysterious region in the central plains known for the terrifying rumors surrounding it.
Located in between the four nations of Azria, Urilsh, Bosa, and Wuzecstan, the five hundred mile long forest acted as a buffer zone.
It was said that those who entered would almost never make it out.
Possessing the strength of the grandmaster was necessary to be able to explore and even then it was not a guarantee one would make it out alive.
Deep in the forest.
In an open area, devoid of trees.
A teen could be seen lying down on his back staring up at the sky.
His name was Frankie.
He was a 20 year old college student who loved to game. He had just maxed out his character in the new hit mmorpg Legend of Eternia and had rested his head on his desk to take a quick nap.
The next thing he knew, he was in the middle of a gloomy forest.
The reason why he was staring blankly at the sky was simply because of the notification that showed up in front of his eyes.

"Well shit... my novel just started and its already over."
Frankie did not know how to feel.
He was of course happy he got a system like other novel protagonists but he thought it was still a little too broken even for his own standards.
He had already realized and come to terms with the fact that he had transmigrated partly with the help of his ability calculative mind. However he was surprised his MMORPG game account had crossed over as well.
As he was brooding about how he's going to miss out on all the beginner adventure stuff, he noticed some sound coming from the distance.
The distance was about 5 miles and the party seemed to be in a hurry.
If they kept traveling in the same direction they would reach his location in about 2 minutes.
Frankie thought about it and decided to stay.
He was hoping it was like other novels where a maiden is being chased by some monster and accidentally lures the monster toward him.
Seeing that he was young, she would attempt to stall and gain time for him to escape even though she was no match for the monster.
It would be at that moment that he could show off and easily take down the monster while saving a damsel in distress.
While he was lost in his daydream, the party grew closer. Using mystic insight paired with his telekinesis, Frankie was able to see the figure of someone being chased by something.
If you come across this story on Amazon, it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.
His heart began to quicken as he got a clear view of the person. Then, it ceased any movement for a brief second,
It was at that moment he almost had transmigrated for a second time.
It was a chubby man of about 5 feet 5 inches. What struck Frankie the most however was the worts with green pus in great abundance on his face.
Still frozen in shock, Frankie failed to react when the man arrived in the opening.

Gurig was a jack of all trades hire who could handle most things his clients asked of him without any questions.
Right now, he was in a terrible mood.
His employer requested a specific herb called Violent Iridish Flower that was only located in the Enchanted Grove.
He originally did not want to do it but the renumeration was astonishingly high.
He could smell something fishy about the whole thing but he decided to ignore it. As long as he was paid, he could care less.
I mean seriously though who asks a grandmaster to go out and pick herbs.
As if it was just his luck, he would of course run in to a Grizlar when picking the herb.
A ravenous beast that can eat literally anything and everything.
As cubs they are born with the attack power of an elite ranked warrior.
In adult hood, they could reach up to ascendant rank.
When they enter attack mode, they will not pause until they eat something.
After picking the herb, he had encountered one in the middle of a hunt.
Though it was only at the grandmaster rank, if he stopped and fought it, it would definitely drag the attention of other beasts nearby.
As he was fleeing, he happened across an opening where he saw a teenager with brown hair that seemed to be laying down.
He looked much too skinny to be any strong and his pretty face dispelled any concern.
Although he was surprised that the boy could have made it this far into the forest, he did not raise any doubts as he was most likely abandoned by someone in here.
It happens often and he would sometimes be tasked with these types of jobs.
Almost immediately, Gurig made up his mind to use him as bait for the Grizlar.
He felt no remorse and even a little bit of joy to see a pretty boy get eaten up.
He always hated those who were born good looking, they always thought they were better than everyone else for something we couldn't control.
With a quick movement of his feet, Gurig's figure blurred as he stepped on a tree branch once again propelling himself directly over the head of the boy.
He was planning to cross over the teens area leading the bear directly to him.
However, things don't always go as planned.
As he made his way through the sky, Gurig glanced down at the boy only to be met with a terrifying scene.
The boy's face was morphed into a scowl and his eyes were radiating murderous energy.
---
Frankie was appalled, devastated, flabbergasted even.
His perfect fantasy illusion was broken, and someone had to pay for that.
Almost immediately he sensed the bastard responsible trying to fly over his head.
Swaggering around as if to say, "haha, you dont have any damsel in distress. your a failure of a transmigrator."
Not to mention the fact that he was also trying to use Frankie as bait.
As he looked up, Frankie locked eyes with the guy.
While flashing a smile, Frankie rose his hand at a speed Gurig could not even process, before moving it back towards the ground.
Almost instantly, Gurig felt the weight of the earth focus on him.
His body shot towards the ground like a broken plane, slamming a pit into the earth.
Taking a step forward, he looked down at the man who had both arms and legs broken.
Frankie, shaking his head: "tsk, shouldn't have mocked me"
Gurig:"confused.jpg ????"
As Frankie was deliberating how to move forward, he remembered the huge monster he had noticed chasing the man.
As if on cue, a giant bear like monster rushed out of the forest facing Frankie and the now seriously wounded man.
The creature was approximately 15 meters tall with claws as hard as rocks and fangs protruding from the mouth as sharp as blades.
When it saw the two insignificant beings next to each other as well as the smell of blood from one, its mind went completely blank and could only think about eating.
It took off towards them without giving them a second to wait.
left in its wake was a huge foot print that sunk at least 2 meters into the ground.
Frankie glanced at the monster before simply shaking his head.
He glanced at Gurig with a dead pan face before lifting him into a seated position and saying, "This guy has zero manners, barging in on someone else's arguments like that."
Gurig, who was still in a state of confusion from the instant defeat, could only stare blankly ahead and listen.
The next second his eyes slightly widened indicating his surprise despite his pain.
Frankie who was standing in front of him lecturing him a second ago had disappeared on the spot.
He reappeared almost instantly 10 meters away in front of the face of the charging behemoth.
"fwapppppp"
With a raise of his arm, he sent the back of his hand slamming into the cheek of the Grizlar.
Almost instantly, the moving creature began hurdling backwards leaving a ravine of broken trees in its wake.
In that moment, Frankie did not even use any spacial move, he relied strictly on his physical strength.
ps: let me know if I should continue with a comment, this is my first true shot at a light novel.
