In the Land of the Gods where the very air and life around you are full of the divine, Life flourished. The People that dwell within, those that created societies and culture from nothing, grew quicker than the land could provide. The land always gave and always grew but it was outpaced by the growth of the conscious. The intelligent among them grew worried and dreaded the inevitable demise they would face if nothing changed, The faithful prayed and hoped that the Gods that first gave them the land would once again bless them to continue their growth, The ignorant despised the others who took the word of the weak above their own and hastened their own growth to prove the others wrong. Then the Gods answered, not the intellectuals nor the pious, but the very ones who tread forward to make their own path using their own strength. The Gods granted the ambitious the ability for further growth, Ushered the doubtful towards the future they themselves make, On the day of strife and anguish the bearers of the world were born. The World Bearers are those that have an inner world one which growths with its holder, with its’ God. The Bearers became their own Gods and continued to pave the path for further growth upon all which live in the Land of the Gods’. From that day the Bearers continued to grow and change the life and worlds they govern gave them strength and abilities unique to each Bearer based on the very life they grew within. Time continued to flow, and prosperity became the standard, this does not equate to Peace with the opportunity to become more, the powerful grew more ambitious and challenged each other for their inner worlds and the life that lay within. Thus, another gift of the Gods was revealed, That of the challenges and the Trade. With the power of the inner worlds came the ability to challenge other Bearers and win the right to take from the beaten. With this Trade was discovered, the Bearers that wanted peace and to help others not just themselves could trade their own resources, but it could never be a gift. A trade must always be a gain for both sides, the worth of the resources traded did not matter, what mattered was the value each Bearer associated with the traded resource. With each gift the Gods gave more avenues for growth and prosperity were created, and with them the change to the Bearers continued. Slowly across the ages the Bearers were given categories and groups, distinctions amongst themselves as a society. The original from the Bearers were lost, instead the different races came about. Humans, Goblins, Orcs, Trolls, Elves, and many more were created and formed from the different monsters and life that each inner world created. Slowly once again a crisis aroused within the Land of the Gods, The Bearers that dwelled within the center of the land where the land could not grow anymore lost the opportunity for more resources and growth. When this crisis arose it was quelled in an instant When the last of the Gods gifts was found, The Trials and Talents Appeared. The Trials were gates and graves for the Bearers, Where the Bearers would initiate a challenge to their inner world leading to either the destruction of the Bearers Inner world or the success of the Trial and the gift of resources. For those that could not lead the frontier the Trials were there to give resources upon the ambitious. The Talent appeared with the Trials as further aspects of each Bearer. An innate constitution for each Bearer that would affect the growth of their Inner World. These gifts the Gods gave allowed all to challenge the path that laid before them all, no matter the origin, could become their own divinity. The Bearers grew and continue to grow with the society around them developing as well. Yet the limit of the Bearers is yet to be reached, the intricacies of the Gifts given are still to be explored and the very Gods themselves have yet to make an appearance. With these uncertainties still present, Life was still prosperous and enjoyable.
