I lay on the deck, blood is everywhere. This is... the end of me...

The captain's men surround me, they shout and curse at me. 

"Drown him!" The captain demands.

I am pulled from the deck, at this point, there's no way I can escape. I think of all the people, back at the base. They won't care, even if I am thrown off the ship, or if the captain cut me into a million pieces.

I watch the bubbles, on the edge of death, I think I see something. I feel something pull my lower and lower, it is really dark. Then, my vision goes completely back.

I wake up, I am in complete darkness. I can’t touch anything, I am floating. 

Suddenly, light pours into the darkness. “Canissss~” a voice is calling me.

I look around, the light comes from above. Words start to appear in front of me. You have died. Drowned. The sea has taken your soul.

I open my eyes, just to discover that I am underwater. “Blur blurg~” I open my mouth, cold, salty water rushes in.

I swim hard, I’m about to die, again! 

Then, I discovered that I am not tiring, the water around me is smooth and easy to swim in. Seems like the water has a bond with me. I swim to the surface, “Kah!” 

I am in the middle of the fucking ocean, the closest land looks like its miles away.

“What the hell!” I shouts, why respawn in the middle of the sea?

The sea around me is calm and still, the wind slows down when getting close to me. There are no ships around me, I swim to the land direction. I realise the water pushes me as I swim, which makes me faster. With this, I can get to the land a lot faster and easier.

Two hours later…

“So why were you in the middle of the sea again?” The man asks again. “I rather not talk about it, sir.” I am on a sailboat, which is sailing Osaka right now. Luckily there are people on the boat that speak English. As a hitman, I had to master over twelve languages. But I only learn Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Spanish, Korean and English. It seems like a lot, but I am far from mastering them all.

I just found out a way to improve my power. I have this so-called ’platform’ thing that I can summon, it is only visible to me. I also have this ‘private space’ that I can access, I can put things in or take things out from it, although it is empty right now.

Finally, we reach the land. As I walk past the boats, I hear someone say “That's them! Boss said we work tonight, dunno where they live though.” To my instincts, I know that they are no good. After I enter a sushi restaurant, the setting on the platform changes, and the ‘mission’ unlocks and lights up. The information transfers to my head right as I go in.

Seems like some interesting stuff is going on here, I think to myself, I better check it out, and there is also a pretty decent reward for the mission.
