"Both of you stop fighting, right now!" the man shouted, he was wearing a guard uniform. Kex withdraw his sword and moved some steps backwards. "Are you both participants in entrance test?" asked the guard with serious look in his eyes. Green haired replied with a nod and Kex said "yes".
"Due to the creating a disturbance at venue and making a fight scene at the stalls is against the rules and according to the rules, you both are not qualified to take the entrance test." guard gave them a paper each and left the place. The paper was about the proof of their disqualification. After seeing that, both Kex and green haired ran to the guard and started pleading him to revoke the disqualification. The guard didn't get down from his words and at last after some hours of pleading him and not leaving him alone, he cancelled the disqualification paper and gave them a chance.
"If both of you again make some noises, I will throw you away from this venue. And by the way my name is Texmon Xember and I'm the head instructor of swordsmanship, see you at the Academy, kids." he said that and left the venue.
Kex and green haired looked at each other, hugged each other and felt relieved for not disqualifying. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Leon and you?" after hugging they shake hands and Leon introduced himself. "I'm Kex Tempest from Iota town of Jotoque Empire" Kex replied with a prideness in his words.
Leon's sister came and apologized to Kex, saying "I'm sorry to steal your purse, please forgive me and don't hurt my brother". Kex looked at her and started laughing at her and said, "no problem, I forgive you and now your brother and me are buddies" Kex throwed his hand around Leon's neck and started walking. Kex asked her "what's your name?", she replied "Ossum" with a cute smile. Kex got flustered by her cute smile but regained his straight face.

As he walked with them, he absorbed that they both had pointing ears like Elfs, but they are not as big as Elfs. "If you don't mind, can I ask you a question Leon?" With this incident both Leon and Kex became good friends over the night, they stayed together, and Leon's division was B, which was on 2nd day. The test was conducted in a big maze type looking colosseum. On the first day, the hundred participants went inside and after few hours the test was over. Some of the participants who came outside were looking happy and other were crying. It was said that the results of all Division will be announced after the sand clock is over.
Next day, early morning Kex and Leon had some training and had some food. Kex and Ossum wished good luck to Leon with a charm tied to his hand on his test day. They went with him until the entrance of colosseum and Leon entered the colosseum after his verification.
After a half day of time, at the evening participants came out of the colosseum. Kex and Ossum stood near the colosseum waiting for Leon. When Leon came outside the colosseum, he ran to Kex and Ossum and shouted, "I will get the seat, I finished every task they gave, and I even got some perfect scores." Leon happiness knew no bound because of his test went well.
