Anyway I needed to stop that Alikadous from getting mad at Mike.

I rushed forward and put up a shield spell.

The Alikadous seemed less frightened when the shield surrounded it.

I then grabbed Mike by the shoulder and dragged him away, and released the Alikadous with a snap.

Which it ran too the hay and grazed on it,

It then made a pleasant noise like a flute and a bell.

Wish: Alikadous are common and friendly to humans, when they’re happy they make a pleasant sound that calms both the Alikadous and humans near it.

I turned to face Mike and said to him in a gentle calming voice,

Wish: so mister Mike, can you explain to me why you were out here in the animal roaming area?

Mike: sorry professor Wish..Flaily asked me to come out before lunchtime so..

Flaily: It’s my fault professor Wish!

Flaily: I was going to ask Mike on a date…but I didn’t know Mike was afraid of magical creatures…

Wish: no need to apologize, I’m glad that you’re ok.

Wish: but Mike, you have a problem.

Mike: I’m sorry…professor..

Wish: there is a spell on you that immobilized you.

I lifted my hand and placed it on Mikes head.

Bright light and energy flew off of Mikes head and the spell was gone.

Wish: yep, I undid the spell.

Mike walk over slowly to the Alikadous and closed his eyes..

He waved a hand…he was free!

Mike: Oh, wow…I…I can move…!

Mike stretched his hand to the Alikadous, and he pat it gently.

The Alikadous made a smooth growl and wondered away.

Wish: well how does it feel to be free?

Mike: …..it feels…funny..

Wish: by the way…Flaily?

Wish: where’t you going to ask someone out for a date?

Flaily flushed and stepped towards Mike and Mike grabbed her hand.

Wish starred at them, with a strange look.

I turned my attention away from them,
