Tony wasn't sure they were going to actually win. He was tossed off to the side, once again, grunting when he hit against the rocks that was from a broken building that Thanos had destroyed when trying to reach the Avengers. Banner was unconscious, Clint was badly injured. Natasha was trying to get to her friend, ducking and rolling in order to get away from Ebony throwing countless pieces of rocks at her. Steve was currently on his way towards Tony, constantly passing Thor's hammer back to the Thunderous God while they both ran, though Thor was heading towards Thanos rather than over to Tony.
"We aren't going to win." Tony said to Steve while being helped to his feet, groaning and leaning more against the rather rock his body hit agianst when he was flung. "We're out numbered, Steve. We need a new plan, and now before we lose all our friends." Tony shoved Steve backward, himself falling over the rock he had been leaning on in order to keep them both safe from Thaos' weapon he had just thrown at them. Steve groaned, shoving himself up to his feet, throwing his shield up in time before Thanos could swing the sword around and hit him in the head. "Then what do you suggest?" Steve called over to Tony, ducking down and rolling away from Thanos only to throw his shield at the Titan's head. Thor was on the other side of the battlefield, injured and trying to get himself up to his feet. Tony was right, they weren't going to win this battle at this rate. They needed a new plan, but in order to do that they needed to be able to regroup. And from the looks of it, they weren't going to be able to do just that.
"You Avengers just don't know when to actually give up." Thanos hummed, swinging his sword at Tony this time, who had his own shields built into his suit, so he had just barely lifted his arms up to keep himself protected. His helmet was broken, he had to throw that off after he protected himself from Thanos' swing, and his suit was heavily damaged. "This world isn't worth saving." Thanos said, this time swinging right at Steve, knocking him backward. Even his shield was now broken. He could hardly get himself up onto his feet, Tony just swaying on his own while using his repulsors to try and knock Thanos back long enough for them to get to their teammates. "Says you. I actually very much like our world." Tony said.
While Tony was at least trying to keep Thanos distracted, Steve hurried over to Natasha, using the broken shield to keep her shielded while she tended to Clint. He was heavily bleeding from his shoulder, his own damn arrow wedged into his shoulder blades. Ebony must have done that, deflecting his own arrow back at him. "We have to get out of here, Rogers." Natasha said, her hands pressing flat against Clint's shoulder. "We don't have backup. We are losing, and someone is going to die." Natasha looked back at Banner, who was starting to get to his feet finally, after being knocked out cold during the very beginning of the fight."We are all going to die if we can't regroup." Natasha added on, ducking down when Ebony threw another piece of rock at her and Steve, the Captain throwing shield up in order to keep Clint protected from the falling debris.

"if you have a wonderful idea on how we can all regroup, Romanoff, I would love to hear it." Steve said, looking over at Tony, who was blocking blow after blow from Thanos. It was becoming too much for him. His stance was staggering, his body was trembling. He looked as if he was just trying his hardest to keep himself from
collapsing. “Tony looks as if he is about to fall over and die Steve. We need to fall back.”
“And if you have an idea on how we can actually fall back, I would love to hear it.” Steve said. Thor was finally back onto his feet, holding onto his side and staggering, but he was at least back onto his feet. They all were except for Clint, who looked ready to pass out from blood loss. But even with them on their feet, it was clear they were going to lose. Thanos had finally got Tony down onto the ground, spitting out blood after being stabbed into his side. He looked up from the ground, his eyes catching Steve’s gaze. This was it. They lost. “You love this world very much.” Thanos said, his hand reaching down and lifting Tony up into the arm, the Iron Man grabbing onto Thanos’ wrist as if that would do anything to help or save him.
“I am very sorry that I have to destroy it.” Thanos raised his other hand that held the gauntlet, Tony’s jaw tightening as he watched Thanos hold two fingers together, ready to snap. “I’m sure you understand. This world will be at peace after I am finished with it.” Thanos had gone to snap, Tony’s hand launching out and grabbing onto his fingers, trying to reach for the stones only to be thrown off to the side. But while Thanos was distracted with Tony, Thor launched at the Titan, grabbing onto the gauntlet and stones. Yet, Thor was also thrown off to the side next. “Goodbye, Avengers.” There was a loud snap,a bright light, and then peace
