The Eternals, Marvel ALT_ ideas, VOL 1:

3 Races of beings were created in the Universe by the Architect’s of the Universe, known as The Celestials.

These 3 Races of beings were:

Norms

Eternals

& Deviants.

The Norms were simple, intelligent organisms- capable of greatness & destruction due to their free will.

Eternals were powered by The Celestials Energy & intellectual beings much like Humans with a variant of different Abilities. There were only a couple Eternals on Earth & throughout The Galaxy in general so they were known as an extremely rare species.

Then, there were the Deviants. Organisms that were made by the Celestials before The Eternals for the Soul purpose to protect life from Predators in order for said life to evolve.

At first, The Deviants Aided this and all sorts of species evolved over hundreds of thousands of years. However, The Deviants also evolved & became predators themselves.

When The Eternals were created, their soul purpose was to Destroy all Deviant life. The Eternals themselves are created to not age or evolve to a certain point due to their genetic build up by The Celestials, hence the name “Eternals”.

The Eternals were also given the directive to plant Celestial seeds into Planets all across the universe in order for said Celestial Seed to grow over Millions of years in order to birth the next generation of Architects of the Universe / Celestials.

The Eternals at times were very hesitant with their mission but understood the ultimate goal of The Celestials & served them without question for Millions of years.

However, Deviants regardless of The Eternals still managed to hide out & evolve slowly.

The Deviants grew in the dark, evolved in the Dark & their most Evolved & powerful leader- Kro helped its kind to do so.

The Eternals, regardless of their “programming” by their creators the Celestials, still had sentience, free will & the ability to reproduce.

The Original Eternals on Earth consisted of:

Sprite, Gilgamesh, A’lars, Zuras, Merlin (The First Black Knight) Ikaris, Sersi, Phastos, Ajak, Kingo, Makkari & Druig.

However, before these bunch of Eternals- there was a first generation line of prototypes, created by The Celestials.

These first line of Eternals would be Kronos, Uranos, Daina & many others across the Galaxy.

These first generation Eternals would be given all the faculties & different powers by Celestials as the next generation would, but the difference would be that they have no objective. The Celestials simply wanted to see what would happen due to their interest.

Uranos & Kronos were made to be Brothers biologically with key differences.

Kronos wished to find more of his kind to build a utpoia all across the Galaxy via technology & science but Uranos wished to Rule the Eternals with an Iron Fist & control the entire Universe due to his superiority complex.

Kronos had the ability to hold great knowledge & was the smartest living being in the universe.

Most Eternals posses super human levels of strength naturally so basically every Eternal has that including Kronos.

However, Uranos was given the ability to revive himself back to life. Hence the name:

Uranos, The Undying.

The two brothers eventually clashed due to their beliefs & fought for almost a thousand years- all across the Galaxy (time to time).

However- Kronos, with all his effort managed to withhold his brother for all eternity in a deep cavern- shackling Uranos to a device that he had created to hold Uranos

This Cavern which Kronos has locked his Immortal brother in would be, coincidentally on the same planet as…

Titan.

Eventually, Kronos found another first generation Eternal by the name of Daina.

Daina was an Eternal that had no other abilities other an Super Strength & perceived herself as weak for more than a thousand years.

However, Kronos fell In love with Daina regardless & the two had two children.

The Children would be pure Eternals & would go by the name of:

Zuras & A’lars.

However, not so long after the birth of his two sons- Kronos had been experimenting with Cosmic Energy he had captured. This Cosmic Energy that had found would be the same Cosmic Energy that influxes & defluxes out of Existence from the very far future “Snaps” by his Grandson- The Mad Titan: Thanos.

Whilst Kronos was experimenting with said Cosmic Radiation, The Energy began to spike due to its connection to Thanos & biological ties to Kronos. The Energy was as if sentient to a certain degree & Kronos’ laboratory began to have a meltdown.

Before Kronos could do anything about this however, The Cosmic Energy exploded & Kronos was assumed dead. However, Kronos has actually somehow managed to become Time Itself & lived for an Eternity as a Experimental, Celestial like being.

Kronos had also gained a connection to the infinity stones, most notably- The Time Stone.

However, due to the Belief that Kronos was dead- Daina raised her two sons by herself.

Over a thousand years or so, The Two sons of The Eternals would eventually join the Group / seeding Effort that aided the Celestials to seed Worlds & kill deviants.

This is because since they're second generation Eternals, they were given a directive when they could comprehend. Programming if you will.

The other Eternals which were present were also Pure blooded & served The Eternals.

However, at this point in time- The Kree Galactic Empire ruled The Galaxy with an Iron fist & were on par, if not worse than Deviants to a certain degree due to their galactic power of rule & cruelty.

The Eternals at the time asked their gods if they could intervene but The Celestials did not care about the Kree or it’s activities.

At this point in time, The Eternals had reached Earth to eradicate all Deviants present & Plant yet another Celestial Seed.

However, History began to repeat itself when Zuras & A’lars fought over the idea of siding with The Kree due to their power or opposing them.

A’lar’s Believed that all life, including Deviants regardless of their history- deserves another chance at life under free will but Zuras believes that if all life is in slaved, then Control would not only be at ease, but so would the idea of peace.

The Eternals present also were very Opinionative & sides were made in regards of what they should do when it comes To Deviants, The Kree & their rule.

However, due to their purpose of being the 2nd Generations of Eternals- they still did their objectives on earth as a team & fought in regards of the Kree at other times.

This topic got so heated that to prove a point, A’lars revealed that he had slept & impregnated in secret a Child with an evolved Deviant.

The Eternals were shocked by this revelation by A’lars & asked him if he knew the consequences of doing such a thing, let alone the power it may behold.

Alar’s says that it shouldn’t t matter due to the fact that all life is sacred & further continues by elaborating on his beliefs of life being pure and that without fault, life is not.

The Irony in this is that A’Lars was in love with life & his son Thanos, was in love with death.

Before the Birth of Thanos, A’lars had kept his evolved Pregnant Deviant lover close to him at all times in secret when he along with the Eternals went travelling across the planet to help civilisations with Deviant threats & so forth.

However, Zuras thought it be appropriate that when his brother revealed his secret, that he reveals his own. Zuras then also reveals to the Eternals that he had managed to gain all 6 Infinity Stones in secret & planned to Destroy All those who oppose the Kree Galactic empire with a snap of his fingers.

Zuras Justified this act that he was going to commit by stating that He could create a Uptopia known as Olympias- a city of Eternals where Eternals all across the Galaxy could refugee & be one of the best civilisations in the Galaxy, by the side of the Galactic Kree Empire.

In order for Zuras to commit this act, he had created the Original “Infinity Gauntlet” & due to his cosmic, regenerative abilities- he theorised that he would be able to withstand / heal from the cataclysmic consequences from using all 6 infinity stones at once in order to commit this daring act.

However, Merlin the Original Black Knight & A’lars argue with Zuras in stating that The Kree Empire has found earth & has been experimenting with at least, 25% of the Norms- populating the planet, using Magic, Kree Science & Foreign materials such as Terriegn.

Zuras states that he knows this due to his recent collaboration with The Kree in secret & resourcefulness in aiding him into getting All 6 infinity Stones.

At this point in time, Earth had been out of the sight of The Kree Galactic Empire but due to Zuras secret collaboration with The Kree- The Kree had found out about earth & created what would be known as

“The Inhumans”.

Merlin & A’Lars then continue to argue with Zuras by stating that the infinity Stones Zuras bares, could be the thing that could help give Norms the capacity to Fight against The Kree Empire by giving another 25% of the Norms population Abilities via The Cosmic Infinity Stones radiation & abilities it possess.

This other 25% of the Norms / Human population would be known as

“The Mutants.” Or at the time be referred to as “The Enhanced”.

However said Descendent’s of “The Enhanced” would not be able to use their abilities unless triggered by being exposed to Cosmic Radiation / Energy from The Infinity Stones.

If you haven’t gathered it already, The Reason why the Kree were experimenting on 25% of Humans (creating Inhumans) was not just because of their collaboration with Zuras or for Kree research.

It was because they wanted to take over the planet and make it apart of the Kree Empire- So their strategy was to experiment on said 25% of the Population, said 25% were expected to be exposed to experimentation more often in order to activate their abilities quicker rather than waiting Generations of DNA Gestating, like how those who carry the inhuman gene do modern day.

So that once their powers were given to them, The Kree would expect this 25% of the Human race to be great full to The Kree Empire & bow down before them and eradicate threats such as The Eternals and any other adversary’s that dare threaten the Kree Empire.

However due to Zuras plan, They stopped Further experimentation due to the belief that Zuras plan would work.

Now Since The Eternals (2nd Generation) that were sent to Earth are given an objective unlike the first generation prototypes (Kronos, Daina, Sui-San etc)

The Eternals that were sent to earth are given a very simple objective, Eradicate all Deviants on said planet, plant Celestial seed, wait for Birth- off to next planet: Repeat.

Anything else outside of those objectives, were seen as Irrelevant by The Creators of The Eternals / Architect’s of the Universe, known as: The Celestials.

So of course, when The Kree Galactic empire were going hectic during that point in time when The 2nd Generation Eternals that were sent to earth were present- Some of The Eternals members didn’t necessarily like nor appreciate The Galactic Kree Empire, due to their Rule & cruelty.

But since Destroying The Kree isn’t in The Eternals objective- given by The Celestials, they can’t necessarily do much about the Kree nor the experimentation The Kree eventually do on 25% of the earths inhabitants.

Hence, why A’lars, Merlin (The Original Black Knight) & others say to create another 25% portion of The Human race that is given abilities by the infinity stones to fend off against the possible loyal 25% of Kree Experimented Norms & Kree Galactic Empire themselves since technically The Eternals wouldn’t be getting involved but another force would.

This would create division against The Eternals that either side with A’Lars or Zuras.

A Civil war broke out between the family- fighting for control over The Gauntlet, over morales & what they should do.

However, due to A’lars ability to manipulate matter at a molecular level, he split his brothers gauntlet & formed a second gauntlet into his left hand, withholding 3 of the infinity Stones whilst his brother Zuras holds the other 3.

The two brothers clash with such might and force that the Other Eternal members can barely stand up, even with their powers.

Eventually The Two snap their fingers, wishing for whatever it is they want from the infinity Stones. Because of this, the two snaps creates a mass confusion of power and might & ultimately both wishes are changed in a different variation.

Due to the confusion of what the two were asking for simultaneously, the universe responded by doing 2 things.

One of which was in a way granting A’lars wish by giving another 25% portion of the human race powers via the infinity Stones, but ultimately not instantaneously, rather over hundreds of thousands of years of DNA Gestating- much like the Inhumans due to the stopping of The Kree Experimentation.

The 2nd thing that has occurred was the also in a way granting Zuras’ wish but ultimately over time having The Kree Empire slowly collapse due to lack of resources, rebellions (such as The Xandarin Government, The Ravengers etc) & firepower- ultimately over time dwindling the Kree Galactic Empire to the point where The Kree pretty much lost all of its control & managed to only settle for their home world, hala & maybe a few other planets / settlements across the Galaxy here and there.

However, at around the time of Thanos’ conception- coincidentally was when Zuras & A’lars snapped their fingers with the infinity stones.

Since A’Lars, evolved deviant lover / mother of Thanos was always near A’lars in secret- Thanos at the time of conception / birth was right near the cosmic radiation / range of The Snap of the infinity Stones.

The Energy had affected Thanos and resided something deep inside him. A connection to the infinity stones, an energy from them that he has inside of him that would make him feel as if. Bonded to them, from birth.

Thanos’ deviant mother had died not necessarily from the pain of Child Birth but from the Cosmic, infinity Stone Radiation exposed to her at point blank range due to A’lars wishes of her staying close to him at all times. However, Thanos wasn’t killed due to his Eternal genetics / power he possess.

It also turns out that Zuras had died from this regardless of his Regeneration abilities. It seems that the Stones had somehow affected Zuras more than Alar’s & Zuras tells Alar’s to look after his daughter.

A’lar’s looks shocked since he didn’t know Zuras had a daughter. A’lars respects Zuras wishes and forms The Gauntlet into his hand back to his brothers original gauntlet / form.

The Eternals bury Zuras with All 6 infinity Stones for thousands of years to come in a cavern, deep in the earths core.

Again, the irony behind this is that Zuras- regardless of his regenerative abilities died & was buried deep in the earths core. This parallels Uranos, The Undying since he can never die & is locked up in a cavern deep near Titans core.

Merlin, The Original Black Knight decides to leave Earth to live in Exile due to the events that have occurred & leaves His Ebony Blade in the hands of A’lars.

Merlin & Zuras were best mates and due to Zuras' death, he was mourning and decided to leave Earth, Temporarily. However, what he didn’t know is that when he had shacked up with a Human in secret- he had impregnated her & began the family tree that is Dane Whitman’s, complicated, royal ancestry.

We will go into more detail soon enough but for now let us refocus back to the story that is at hand.

A’lars still shocked by the revelation of a secret niece & the fact that he survived from the infinity stones, quickly remembers about his deviant lover.

A’lar’s quickly goes to the location of which he finds his deviant lover, dead. A’lars begins to imagine the worst since he would assume that his child would also be dead due to His deviant lover being pregnant.

However, he hears crying & sees his Son. Half Deviant, Half Eternal.

A’lar’s is both sadden by the death of his deviant lover and happily cries at the revelation that his child is somehow alive.

A'lar's sees that his child is a boy & decides to name his son:

Thanos.
