Chapter 1 Servant
In a small rundown cabin you could see a boy around thirteen years old with a tall slender figure, black hair and dark brown eyes lying in bed.
"Are me and brother just gonna be servants for the rest of our lives"
Suddenly the door to the cabin opened and a young boy about ten years old with disheveled black hair and a little short came in and said
"Big bro Sanon get up you have to help the third lady grab her arrows, she wants to go hunting!"
"Yeah I got it Damian"
I got up and thought about me and my little brother's situation. Me and him are servants for a huge martial arts family known as the Xiao family. Our mother died shortly after giving birth to my little brother and my father abandoned us when we were young causing me look out for Damian.
I began going to the shed and grabbed arrows and ran to the outskirts of the Xiao families forest to deliver the arrows. When I got there I saw a beautiful young lady on top of a horse around the same age as me with smooth black hair and a face people would go to war for but the most redeeming feature are her neon coloured eyes that certain people in the Xiao family are born with.
"You're late, a servant must be by his master's side whenever the servant is needed" the beautiful second lady said with a stern voice
"I'm sorry I deserve punishment for inconveniencing the young mistress" I said with a scared tone
"Whatever just give me the arrows and be on your way"
"Thank you young mistress"
I quickly gave her the arrows and waited for her to leave into the forest when suddenly I saw a small book drop from the lady's person and I was about to tell her but she already left into the forest so I went to go pick up the book and on the cover it said ((optic impulse)).
Omg I thought ((optic impulse)) is a skill every martial arts practitioner knows about, this battle skill is what made the Xiao family so prominent. I tucked the book away to make sure nobody saw it and quickly ran back to my shabby old cabin. When I entered I saw Damian asleep and a lot dust pile up, thank goodness I can look at the book without being disturbed I thought. I began reading the book through and through to make sure I memorized every single word that was in the book and without even realizing it the next day already started.
In a castle within the Xiao family estate

"What do you mean you lost it, that is our Xiao families most priceless skill, you better find it Kylie or I swear I will disown you" a stern man said with an angered tone
"Yes father" Kylie said with a scared tone and then she immediately set off to find the book
Back to now
Okay the book says I need to send Qi to my eyes and begin swirling the Qi gently but the process will be tiresome and I can stop when my eyes begin to feel warmth. I immediately do so and began sending Qi to my eyes but my body didn't contain much Qi and I quickly overused my Qi and I started losing consciousness. It must be understood that there are different ranks to martial artists that correspond to how much Qi you have. The beginning is houtian with nine ranks dividing them and I don't even know after houtian since I'm just a servant.
I awoke and I saw Damian staring at me with an indifferent expression on his face and then he said
"Look who's finally awake you actually slept in, whatever there's not much anyways, I'm gonna head out for a while be back later"
I wasn't even listening to Damian and began looking at my body, it feels stronger and filled with energy, I quickly realized that I've stepped into the world of martial artists and became a rank 1 houtian practitioner. I jumped and smiled with excitement and then started thinking if I get stronger I won't have to be servant, I won't have deliver arrows to some spoiled brat like dog instead I'll have her kowtowing before me
"Hahahaha!" I started laughing at the endless possibilities.
After that I wanted to test out my only battle skill ((optic impulse)) when I used it everything seemed clearer I could see cobwebs and the tiniest of bugs running through the cabin. This is amazing I can see everything and this is only the first part of the skill no wonder the Xiao family became so famous with such a skill. I looked at myself in the cracked mirror I have and saw that my eyes were a deep Crimson which to be honest scared the crap out of me.
Soon I stopped using the skill and started thinking about my future. If I really want to follow in the martial artists path then I need a lot of money in order to obtain good food that could nourish my body and other medicines that could help me. I kept pondering for a few more minutes and finally thought of a wonderful idea I just need to give back the book.
