I've been genuinely thrilled by all the positive comments on my last post, so thank you all so much. It motivates me and makes me really happy that you're excited to see the new version of MD. Today I just wanted to make another quick post to let everyone know that the new version of the fiction is live on Royal Road as of a few hours ago here and you can read the first chapter here.

I've also gotten a couple questions about leaving the old version up. I'm a little bit hesitant to do this, mostly because I don't want there to be two versions available, and also because I think the newer one is way better. For now, I'm going to leave it deleted, but if a lot of people really want to see it again, I'll reconsider.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.

That's all I wanted to share today—my next post in this fiction will be to let you know that the new one has reached the same point in the plot as the previous version. I don't really have an ETA for this, but I would guess that it will be at least six or eight months based on my current posting schedule. If I start to have an enormous backlog, I may speed up a bit, but I just want to manage expectations for now and keep ahead of it.
