Intense hand-to-hand combat of gods. What? A fight of no actual spear hitting spears. They're not giving their 'all'. Aren't they gods with both 'spears' as divine weapons? She gave up on being their audience. You see, Miho is so interested in spears when she was still 'alive' as a shrine maiden. She's a celestial servant now though. She died and was given a choice between being reborn or just serving in the heavens instead.
Her job's to manage fellow light bearers on her assigned boat. Made of wood and Eastern design on the River of souls. They have to relight the lanterns on the boat. And swishing red wooden staffs with paper charms in a timed fashion. The choreography of the staff-swishing is timed with the sounds of chimes. Moves that look simple and well, graceful. They're complicated though if you'd ask the light bearers who missed timing and then met the cold emotionless eyes. And be smacked with Miho's staff. That's the time you would hate being a 'swisher'. And realize this job? Not as easy as you would think.
She's the strict worker type. Everybody knows that and of course, herself. Old habits die hard. Also her hobby of spears. She's got books and pictures about the weapons. Even replicas of famous divine spear armaments. All from her wage. No coins going to food or drinks. Perks of being a spirit. No plans of being reborn soon. Why spend on choosing what and where her next reincarnation be? Purchases of spear-related stuff can do. She preferred stability. Everything should go as they are.
She's never the hardworking type. No, not at all. She was a shrine maiden in her mortal life because as one, she was assigned in keeping the temple torches lit. The constant relighting is a boring job. If she is hardworking she would've gone on a journey as a priestess to cultivate and spread her belief. Or rise the ranks. She avoided temple politics. Up still here since the drama battle of being promoted as a direct aide of goddesses is serious. Those higher positions tend to go to major spirits, ascended individuals, and heavenly beings like that dragon that failed to avoid that debris there. As she views the collapsing dimension around her. The maiden sighed and went to another place.

That other place means the other side of this five-by-five-meter marble cube. She can't hop like those two. The minor god of lighting. A child of two gods. His father is an ascended human hero who his opponent hates. It is known by the Eastern divine population that the minor fire god is a kill-by-sight opponent of the other (except on the heavens) because of rules, duh.
But a shrine maiden equivalent of Miho, who sat by her side, is rather invested. It's not all the time you can see Eastern divine people. At least for this temple maiden with blonde hair and clothed with Northern attire. This one is the curious type. Unlike Miho who scanned the area for possible escape routes and then swore as the cube, they're on, is slowly tilting.
Both saw the browned-haired raccoon eared subordinate of Miho. Wearing an Eastern outfit. Who fell from above but hanging on the lower tip of their floating cube. Miho can't talk to the blondie and neither can the Northern servant speak the other's language. So Miho took the initiative. She materialized a familiar red 'swish' wand and the raccoon girl, who had already taken a hit by Miho back at their boat hours ago, nearly wet herself. Then, a slap of a silver sandal on the face made the beast woman fall. Finally. The blonde temple servant, (former) since she is a boat waitress of the Northern equivalent of Miho's Eastern Heaven's Corridor, gave a thumbs up and winked. At last, back to stability. Violence is not her cup of honey. But better that one than her.
"Oh, cool!" finally Miho spoke. They saw a probably Western god who used a spear to destroy debris flying his way. "That's how you use it!" After the chaos, she's not entirely sure about her next employment. She is certain that she is definitely buying a replica of that splendid divine spear.
