Around the same time, at the second victim's place, Inspector Andrew and Detective Samuel still desperately trying to get ahead of Johnathan. They had already flipped everything inside the house. They're even thinking about flipping the house instead, but of course, they just sarcastically think about that. With both of them exhausted after hours of searching for another clue or leads, they rest on the victim's house front porch.
"It leads nowhere. We didn't find anything for the past 3 maybe 4 hours," said Andrew, who sits at the top level of the stairs.
"Maybe we should stop, Andrew. Leave this to the professional. What I mean is, just leave it to Johnathan Brown. It's his speciality anyway," said Samuel, who leans at one of the house's poles.
"No! This is our chance to prove that we can solve these weird, gruesome cases. Not some outsider like him. Besides, what's he got besides his good-looking faces and his pricey suits? I bet he got a connection to those criminals and got bribe to covers their track and made up a solution to those past cases," said Andrew while bouncing one of his legs.
"Easy now, Inspector. You're speculating just now. We got no proof of it. It'll be a whole new mess if you say something like that to other people."
"I know. All more reason for us to solve this case before he does," Andrew let out a long exhausted sigh. "My guts tells me if we pull this off, we can restore people's trust to ours and reveal who is Johnathan Brown. Anyway, let's do another swipe. If turns out nothing, we have to narrow down potential victim from available evidences," Andrew got up and entered the victim's house once again.
"Alright then. Slow and steady this time," Samuel followed Andrew.
But before they begin their search again, Andrew's phone suddenly vibrates. Andrew tells Samuel to do a search first. Andrew immediately takes out his phone from his pocket and checks it. "1 new message from Unknown Number" is written on his phone. Andrew tries to delete it, but as soon as that message gets deleted, he receives another new message. He tries several times, but a new message keeps popping out. It'll never stop until he gives up deleting it and opens the new message instead.
"Your new lead is Aria Florence. Search for her favorite place, she'll be there. Move fast and her life may be saved. Yours Truly, Johnathan Brown." is the message Andrew receives. Andrew ignores that message and puts his phone back in his pocket. Moments later, his phone vibrates again for another new message. He opens it and says, "You'll find her info inside your case files. Trust me." After he read that message, even reluctant to do it, Andrew returned to his car and reread the case files, specifically reading Aria Florence's files.
After spending a moderate amount of time, Andrew finds out that Aria Florence has more connection to both victims, Jodie Harris and Nina Barbet. From the daily routines, the field of work, and physical features, Andrew concludes that Aria Florence will be the next victim. Since he's a man who trusts his guts, he jumps out of the car and tells Samuel about it.
"Are you sure about that? Like, really... really... sure about that? Not just because Johnathan sent you a message," asked Samuel firmly.
"Yes, definitely. Yeah, I'm aware that without Johnathan, I won't get to this, and I hate that fact. But if we don't react fast, Aria Florence will be dead by the morning."
"Alright. So, do you know where to look for her? It's going dark soon," asked Samuel while pointing at the twilight.
"I have a feeling where she is. She went to the nearest coffee shop around 200 meters from her place at dusk. Since there are numerous coffee shops, she only went to shop that sell pretzel. That's narrow down to only 1, the 'Second Cup' Coffee Shop." said Andrew as he pointed out the focal point at Aria Florence files.
"Oh, I know where it is. That shop is a kilo away from the hill, north of the city. I know the shortcut." says Samuel.
"Alright," said Andrew as he packed the files and put them in the back seat.

Samuel hits the gas as soon as Andrew enters the car, so they won't lose any more time. Samuel's slick driving combined with the shortcut taken, they arrive in less than 10 minutes, with the distance around 10 kilometers. When they near the destination, Samuel slowed down the car and parked it in the alleyway with a clear view of the front of the "Second Cup" Coffee Shop. They wait and are on the watch for more than 30 minutes until finally Aria Florence shows up and is seen entering the shop.

Andrew is about to get out of the car got stopped by Samuel. The sky is already dark, and it'll work to their advantage as they are hidden by the building's shadows in the alleyway. They could observe the shop's surroundings without worrying as they hid in the shade. Samuel stops Andrew to maximize the advantage they have as he points out that there are several odd groups of people who show up. Those groups wearing almost the same black jacket with a yellow strip jacket. Though those groups maintain their distance from the shop, Andrew and Samuel clearly see they are here for mean business. Suddenly, the driver's door glass got tapped lightly by someone. Samuel looks in his side-view mirror and sees two guys standing beside their car. The one who tapped carrying a baseball bat, but Samuel can't see what the other guy is holding. They are wearing the same jacket, just like those surrounding the coffee shop. That two unknown men are missed by Andrew's and Samuel's attention as they focus more on what's happening at their front.
"Aye bro, open the window." said the one with the baseball bat. "I'm not asking. Open your window."
Samuel complies and lowers the windows. The guy bows a little, so he can peek inside the car.
"Well well well. What are you guys gentlemen doing all by yourself at this dark alleyway?"
"Well, we're just exhausted from a long drive, man. Don't have a place to rest and park. So, here we are." replied Samuel with his made-up story.
"Hmm... First of all, I'm not your 'man.' Secondly, feels like you're full of shit. Like a cop or something. Thirdly, ain't y'all too fancy dressed for not having a play to stay?" The guy stepped back a little and lightly hit with a baseball ball at the door. "Get out from the car, fool. Both of you."
Samuel gets out of the car first, and Andrew follows shortly after. The guy with the bat points his finger toward Andrew, cueing his friend to watch him. His friend pulls out a gun with a suppressor and aims it at Andrew.
"Arms up, mofo." said the guy with a baseball bat.
Samuel complies and raises both of his arms. The thug approaches Samuel and checks all of his pockets until he finds Samuel's wallet. Samuel steals a peek at Andrew, cueing to confront them as soon as Samuel makes the first move. Andrew nods slightly as a confirmation to Samuel. As the guy with a bat completely opens Samuel's wallet, he sees a police badge inside it. Realizing that Samuel is a police officer, the guy with a baseball bat is surprised and about to attack Samuel. But that's a little too late, as Samuel had already made the first move.
Samuel grabs the bat-guy at the forearm and the bat and smacks into the guy's face. The thug with the gun turns his attention towards Samuel and tries to shoot him. While Samuel having a brawl with the thug with the bat, Andrew sneaks behind the car to get close as possible to the guy-gun. The gun thug still aims at Samuel and hasn't fired a shot. He wanted to shoot Samuel but was afraid to hit his friend. Andrew uses that short moment of advantage to quickly charge toward the gun thug and knocks him over. Andrew struggles a little but can finally knock the gun thug unconscious. Andrew takes the guy to help Samuel, but Samuel is already done with his fight. Though Samuel is holding back a little, the bat thug only receives a mild beating.
"You.... *huff*.... filthy cops!" said the bat thug lying on the ground.
"Now now, save your breath. If not, you'll end up like your buddy over there, " Samuel said while holding the bat thug with the bat. "It seems that we got our lead, Inspector." said Samuel towards Andrew, who is tying up the gun thug.
"Fuck you! I won't say anything!" says the bat thug.
Andrew, who finished tying up the gun thug, gets close to the subdued bat thug and punches him so hard that his nose breaks.
"I, really, don't care about you, you lowlife bastard. Since you are wearing the same jacket as those guys over there, that means you are with them," Andrew said, pointing to the bat thug's group. "Now, be a good man once in a while and cooperates. Try to scream, and I'll break your flimsy neck with your own bat. Tied him, Detective."
Samuel flips the bat thug and his arms and legs. Andrew takes duct tape from the car and sticks it on bat thug's mouth. With both of them getting tied up, Andrew drags the unconscious gun thug and puts him in the car's trunk, while the bat thug gets thrown into the back passenger seat by Samuel. As Samuel and Andrew are about to get into the car, Samuel notices the thug's groups come out of the shop while dragging a young woman, who is none other than Aria Florence. They drag her into a dark alleyway beside the coffee shop, and a moment later, a black van comes out from the alleyway. Samuel quickly gets into a car and begins tailing that black van.

Unknown to those on the ground, Johnathan and Grace enjoy their time on one of the apartment's rooftops when everything unfolds. Grace is watching them intensively from start to finish, both Andrew's and the coffee shop's situation. On the other hand, Johnathan sits on the chair and reads a book. Grace finished her watch after the black van went away, followed by Andrew's car from a distance.
"There they go, Master. Should be chased them?" asked Grace enthusiastically.
"Of course. Right on time with me, finished my book," said Johnathan as he stood up. "Thank you for the chair, Madam. It really is a comfortable chair for reading," he added toward an old lady staring at the night sky.
"Ah, it's no big deal. It's a nice feeling when there are someone else accompany me enjoying the night sky," said the old lady.
"The pleasure is mine. But the time is come for my departure, so farewell, and enjoy the rest of your night, Madam," Johnathan said as he jumped off from the ledges, followed by Grace.
Johnathan and Grace land gracefully even though they fall from more than 50 meters as if they can control their fall. They walk a little further away to where they park their car. And when they're ready, they go to where the group, their victim, and Andrew are headed. Grace drives as Johnathan told her, no question asked. Because she knows that once her Master knows someone's smell, he knows exactly where they are, no matter how far. Their direction is headed towards a road to a neighboring city through a dense forest. From the 'Second Cup' Coffee Shop to the said road only takes 10 minutes.
