prologue

The two largest players are the Saltz kingdom and the Drachian empire whose rivalry began long before the advent of war. Both where once under one Nation, Belinia, forged under the rule of King Roland the Great, it was only after his death that this rivalry began. His two sons split the nation both claiming to be the great kings true successor. As the years went on and centuries passed both grew outwards expanding their borders, but time did not help to smother the embers of hatred and with the death of princess Alexia of Drachia those embers erupted into a great fire, burning all who dwell in Allirion.

Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions.

For many war has become a part of their life so intrinsic and enate that those born before the war could hardly even recall their lives were once free of it. War was a given but what would happen to the peoples lives if that war came to an end, what of the people whose very life was war. It seemed so implausible that the thought was never even entertained by most. But some began to think, what if, what if we would be better off without the war. And what if there was more to this ancient world than blood soaked ground perhaps something of far greater importance yet to be realised.
