Hello to all my dear readers.

I have a few things to announce.

1. First let me clarify that I am NOT quitting this book nor am I changing the plot or storyline or contents!!! I Repeat this is Not a REWRITE!

2. Based on advice from other authors, as well as my own introspection, I realize that stable and consistent releases are key to attract readers. I started this book over two years ago, and since then releases have been haphazard and infrequent due to time constraints. Now in the coming days for at least a month or two, I have a lot of free time which will allow me to stockpile. Still, I want to tread carefully around burnout and also pace myself well so instead of releasing chapters back to back on this account I will create a brand new account.

3. I've been meaning to do this for a while. I've always tended to spread myself a bit thin and write as the inspiration struck me so I have several unfished fictions. I decided it was best to focus on my most popular one for now. After I've achieved initial success or perhaps at Book/Volume 4 or 5 of Magic Card Apocalypse. I will find time to focus on my other fictions one by one seeing as I am very passionate about them as well.

This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it.

4. The new account will focus solely on this book and have stable releases, the name of the book will remain unchanged. Only the author's name and the cover will change.

5. I've never interacted much with comments before (personally it felt weird, I don't know why) but this time around, I will do my best to answer any questions you might have.

6. After my running ads for this account are completed, I will delete this book and release it on my other account. I will publish the first ten chapters then one a day following that. However, all chapters from 30 onwards will be available on my Patreon For FREE. This is only up until the last release on this account. For example, if we stop at chapter 38 here, then chapters 30-38 will be made public on Patreon while the other account lags behind.

P.S. What do you guys think of the name Sun Wukong? If you hadn't noticed by now I am heavily influenced by Chinese and Korean light novels so this is my favorite name. I'm not sure it will translate well to Western audiences though. Chinese authors have all sorts of interesting names like Cuttlefish that Loves Diving, Dark Eggplant, Twelve Winged Dark Seraphaim etc, but western names are a lot more plain. Theoretically, I'm sure I can use the name when publishing. I do intend to write a lot of cultivation stories in the future, I have at least four ideas on draft outside of my other incomplete novels. That's a matter for the future, however. Comprehensively most of the books I can think to write are cultivation-oriented so what better name than The Monkey King?
