After the words had been enchanted with Gwynn’s spell, they drifted across realms, their power spreading through dimensions, forming arcane configurations to capture Gwynn’s next victim.
Somewhere far away, across time and space, her powerful spell reached a creature from the nether realm. The creature opened its eyes and stirred under the hypnosis, all recall of its previous life gone, left with only one mission: to chase a victim through to the portal. This one singular purpose was all that mattered.
The creature roared with a ghastly outcry, transported from its realm to somewhere else. A dark wood. Thick trees, and moonlight above.
It woke on the forest floor, unaware of who had transported it there. It didn’t matter. The only thing that mattered was the prey in these woods. The closest human it could find and chase.

The creature raised its giant, monstrous head, sniffing the air around it. The scent of the pine woods, mixed with different forest animals filled its nostrils. The creature smelled deer, rabbits, owls, but these were not what it desired. It wanted to find the scent of a human. That’s what the witch Gwynn had cast into its mind, and that’s all the creature wanted to hunt.
It darted through the woods, its large form easily breaking the trees around it, shattering them like twigs. The body was covered in dark fur, adapted for the harsh, unforgiving climate of its own world. It had developed large claws, and powerful muscles to survive in its native realm. Here in this new world, the creature found itself the apex predator. Nothing could stand in its way as it pursued its mission: finding a human, and chasing them to their doom through the portal.
