Chapter 34 – No Title!

~Coral Coast College~

~Claus PoV~

"By the way, this means I win the bet right?" I asked her with a smirk.

After looking at it for a while she got her emotions under control and looked at me "I still don't believe that what I saw was true, it may have been something else as well." She said and I smiled.

'James, come here and give me the papers.' I sent a mental message to James who appeared next to me, Nina raised an eyebrow before looking at the files he has handed me.

I looked at her "Let's see if you believe in facts." I handed over files to her and her face became paler and paler as she kept on reading what was on the file.

After she was done she closed the file and sat down on the ground looking completely lifeless.

"It's over...I have finally gotten a place with new things and it will be over before I even checked the place out." She mumbled and I sent away James and sat next to her.

Everyone on the street looked at us weirdly trying to understand why we would sit down in front of a cafe shop.

"You know if I didn't have a way to avoid this I wouldn't have brought it up," I said to Nina who opened her eyes wide and looked at me. 'That's right unless he had a way to deal with this why would he tell me about it.' She thought in her heart.

But after thinking about it for a while she frowned "How do you plan to deal with this? Do you know how strong a 'Blackhole' is?" She said and I laughed.

"Don't underestimate me, I have my ways, you don't need to worry about it if I say I have a way to deal with it then I do," I said and she looked at me as she brought her face closer to mine, I pulled my head away and showed a clear expression of surprise.

"What was that about?" I asked her and she stood up. She looked down towards me "I trust you, so tell me how you are going to deal with this first or you can forget about me helping you with anything." She said and went back into the shop.

I picked up the files she left on the floor and followed her.

After we sat down we ordered another set of coffee to drink and she looked at me, waiting for me to explain how I am going to avoid this predicament.

"First things first, let's talk about what a black hole is," I said and started to explain to her.

"This means that there are three properties of a black hole that are (in principle) measurable: their mass, their spin (or angular momentum) and their overall electronic charge. Indeed, these are the only three parameters that an outside observer can ever know about since all other information about anything that goes into making up a black hole is lost.

If that was the case how are we going to deal with it? We need more information about black holes to find a countermeasure right?" I said and she nodded agreeing with me.

"In this world, a black hole is almost impossible to deal with because they lack the resources to deal with it, unlike my old world where people took a stroll in a white dwarf without being affected at all," I said with a prideful tone, but she couldn't be bother to care as she kept on listing.

The more I told her about how this world was lacking and how strong the black hole was the more her face became frightening until she looked at me and took a deep breath with a deep frown she said: "So let me get this straight, no matter what we do we are fucked?" She said and I laughed.

"That's right, for an outsider looking in the event would probably be pretty fun to watch. For us residents on Earth, though, uh, not so much..." I said and she released a killing intent and I tensed up.

"So all that talk about fixing this was bullshit!" She said in a tone filled with killing intent and I turned serious.

"I said that I have a way to avoid it, I never said I knew how to deal with the black hole." The moment I said those words her killing intent was gone and the tense atmosphere went back to normal and she glared at me as if I was her prey and she was waiting to pounce on me at any given time.

"Then how do you plan to avoid this problem?" She asked me.

"Do you believe in the multiverse?" I asked her and she raised her eyebrow and squinted her eyes and looked at me. She thought about it for a while before shaking her head "No." She said and I laughed a little.

"Why does it sound farfetched? I mean you are not from this world and made your way here and yet you find it hard to believe that the theory of the multiverse is not real." I said with a sarcastic tone and she shook her head.

"Instead of teasing me why don't you enlightened me." She said.

"First I believe this is true because I know for a fact that there is indeed a multiverse, Parallel Universes, Daughter Universes, Infinite Universes e.t.c due to my arrival to this world,"  I said.

"Your arrival?" She asked me and I nodded.

"How did you arrive here?" She asked me and I shook my head "Forget about how I arrived here, just know that I have the memories of being in another earth that were the same as this one in many ways but also very different.

What does this mean?" I asked her and she thought about it for a while.

"A parallel world?" She said and I gave her a thumbs up. "That's right, a parallel world, so if that' true then doesn't this mean that the theory of the multiverse is true?" I asked her and she bit her lips "If what you are saying is true then I guess, but..how are you planning on avoiding the black hole by knowing this?" She asked me and I smiled.

"We just have to bring this earth to another universe."

"And how will you do that?... Wait, don't bother I think I am losing brain cells every time you speak." She said as she massaged her temple with her fingers.

She let out a sigh and looked at me "Honestly I don't know much about the universe or how it works, my area of expertise are with the soul, not the world, so I will let you deal with it, I just hope you know what you are doing." She said.

After that we didn't talk about the black hole any longer, she asked me a couple of questions about my goals and what I wanted her to do since we are working together now.

Honestly, I have already prepared her role in my conquest, I will let her deal with all the political roles while I focus on dealing with the underworld, I was really never a fan of putting on a mask for people.

So I guess this is good for me.

I told her about her role and some other stuff and she didn't really mind, she said that she did something similar back in her world so she is not a complete stranger in the political world.

After we talked about some other things it was finally time for me to ask again.

"By the way, this means I win the bet right?" I asked her with a smirk.

"Yeah, so tell me what you want, if it's too unreasonable don't think I will let you." She said and I grinned.

"No, it's nothing like that, I want you to tell me everything about this 'Mana' and why I can't sense it. Also, I want to know how you were able to fly?" I asked her and she looked at me for a while and let out a sigh.

"Honestly? I think Mana and Qi are the exact same thing." She said and I frowned.
