Madman

Do you know how it feels to squeeze the life out of an innocent, helpless human?

I don’t even remember why I was there. Her hands were scratching at my arms, her body thrashing about, her choked screams echoing deliciously in my head. Her face turned slightly blue and I smiled.

The look on her face brought about my most devilish grin. The more she struggled, the more I laughed.

Based on my strength and her fragility, I knew she wouldn’t last long. Laughter bubbled in my throat and spilled out my cracked lips. The laughter morphed into sick cackling. I loved seeing her try so desperately. Didn’t she understand it was over?

Sure enough, her frantic movements settled to the dirt. The noises stopped and my smile slowly faded into my usual menacing scowl.

I threw her to the side like a plastic bag then looked up to the sky.

“...and now I’m bored again.”

I stretched upward, cracking my fingers.

When they fell back to my side, I wrapped my skeletal fingers around the blade that was in my back pocket.

Turning to the lifeless body I bent down. My wide–eyed grin returned and I began harshly stabbing her body.

Making a circle, the blood poured out of the body with a spoiled aroma.

I guess you never know how much blood there is in a person until you open them up.

I began to laugh again. Cupping some blood and splattered it on my face. Hysterical in my twisted joy, I rolled around in the red liquid.

I guffawed and praised myself.

Sitting up, I pushed the body away from me.

My laughter stopped, but a smile was still printed on my face.

I looked to my left, noticing a man standing shellshocked, with a horrified expression. My smile grew, displaying my yellowed teeth.

“Well, this should be fun.”
