On the outskirts of the city of Birmingham on the street number four stands a castle in a desolate location with no immediate houses in its neighborhood. The Gothic architecture and the exterior walls with paintings of the Blackthorn are its striking features. Tenuous gleams of crimson red lamp lit the house in great vain though its reach inaccessible to the objects at remote angles. The gramophone starts playing itself at midnight with a clear resonant voice “Get the hell out of here.” The walls suffused with black wash and the blood-red draperies hung upon it would spare no chance in enhancing the insufferable pain of the stayers’. The rattling of wind chimes in the bedroom and the echo of peculiar screams from the graveyard nearby at night fill the aura with no less than a terror.
The castle is now a gateway of fear succeeding the inexplicable death of corporate baroness, Veronica, in the year 1923. Since then, neither a family nor a bachelor dared to enter this house after the lady’s gruesome death due to which it has been left uninhabited for almost seven years. But on October 5, 1930, flouting the time-honored fears, an old man named, Andrew, and his manservant, Daniel step into this horrendous street number four.
The thunder and lightning in the sky accompanied by heavy rainfall, swinging of the trees and the bushes, the massive explosion of street lights, and the water-deluged roads leave the beautiful city of Birmingham deserted. At half-past ten, an emerald color car enters street number four with Daniel in charge of driving and Andrew seated at back. The moment Daniel halts the car in front of the castle, a black-colored cat suddenly jumps over the front window screen.
The moment Daniel halts the car in front of the castle, a black-colored cat suddenly jumps over the front window screen.
Daniel: Shudders! Sir, just now a black cat leaped over the front window screen.
Andrew: Hope you are fine!
Daniel: Yes sir, but got frightened at once.
Andrew: Okay.
Daniel: The castle is scary in its outlook!
Andrew: When you step in, you will tremble!
Daniel: Better we move from here.
Andrew: I am here on a mission, you can leave now.
Daniel: Sorry sir!
Andrew: I will get something for us to eat.
Daniel: But it’s raining heavily outside.
Andrew: Don’t worry; I will be back in 10 minutes.
Daniel takes the luggage inside the castle while Andrew attired in a green cloak, sporting red rose eyewear, and fag in one hand drives his way in a hunt for food.
At a quarter past eleven when Andrew pulls his car into street number four toward his home, an unknown person muffed up to the nose, attired in black anorak and black tights with a black hat and black shades, and with a pair of black galoshes strolls across the road in front of his car hurriedly. Andrew stops his car and turns his head back to take a glance at that stranger but due to the pitch of darkness and heavy down pour finds no one.
At twenty minutes past eleven, Andrew reaches home and the moment he enters inside and switches the lights on, he is astounded to see Daniel lying wounded on the ground with his neck punctured and blood oozing out of it prodigiously.

Andrew: What happened to you and who did this?
Daniel: Strangulating! It’s time for me to take a rest.
Andrew: Wait a minute, I will go and get the first aid box from the car.
Daniel: No sir, I won’t survive anymore.
Andrew: Don’t say that, Daniel, everything will be alright.
Daniel: Sir, be careful!
Andrew: Okay, just hang-on Daniel!
Daniel: Goodbye sir!
Daniel dies and Andrew is once again thrown into the greatest alarm by this poignant incident. Despite all these jolts, he continues to stay there without trepidation.
At ten minutes to twelve, Andrew goes to his bedroom to hit the hay. As the clock heralds twelve, The gramophone starts playing itself with a clear resonant voice “Get the hell out of here.” The rattling of wind chimes loudly and a chorus of painful screams emerging from the graveyard wake up Andrew with a jerk. Walking in a half-bent posture, he glances across the house in search of a gramophone. The gleams of encrimsoned lamps don’t aid him easily to map out the exact location of the musical instrument. Finally, at the corner of the dining hall, he locates the gramophone and opens the main door of the house to throw it outside but encounters an apparition of a gorgeous young lady due to which he trembles and takes a step back.
Andrew: Who are you?
Lady: I am Lucy.
Andrew: What are you doing here?
Lucy: Sir, I came to my friend's house in the morning and got stuck up here due to heavy rain.
Andrew: No problem, I will drop if you want me to.
Lucy: But sir, it raining heavily outside, and not safe to travel at this time.
Andrew: Then you can stay here tonight; I will drop you off tomorrow morning.
Lucy: Thank you, sir! Hope I am not bothering you.
Andrew: Not, you can sleep in the bedroom while I will comfort myself here.
Lucy: Once again I thank you for sheltering me tonight!
Andrew: It's okay. Good night and take care.
Lucy: Good night, sir.
At fifteen minutes to one, Lucy walks to the bedroom while Andrew sleeps on the floor in the drawing-room.
At half-past one, Lucy comes to the drawing-room and stoops to seduce Andrew. As she comes closer to him, he opens his eyes and pushes her aside using both his hands forcibly.
Andrew: I know you are a Vampire.
Lucy: At last you could make out.
Andrew: Yes, I came from my native in search of you only.
Lucy: What? In search of me, ridiculous!
Andrew: Four years ago, you trapped and killed my brother named Peter.
Lucy: Oh, you old bugger, I have killed many people in my life!
Andrew: A couple of hours back you came here and killed my manservant, Daniel also.
Lucy: Yes, I have killed him and will persist to hunt as many humans as possible.
Andrew: I won’t let this happen anymore!
Lucy: Okay, first you survive at my hands.
Andrew: Don’t give me a damn!
Lucy: Then, kill me if you can!
Lucy approaches closer to Andrew and makes at him with per pointed nails and wounds him terribly. But the moment she opens her mouth with protruding fangs to puncture his neck and suck blood, Andrew takes out a sharp-edged long knife and beheads her.
Lucy(Vampire) dies and Andrew returns to his native.
