Chapter 3: The World of Eternal Winter

The shining light of the amulet filled the air with a magical glow, and when the portal opened in front of Eliora, she stepped into its bright radiance. In an instant, the world around her changed. The warm light and green forests of Lunaria gave way to the kingdom of eternal winter.

Eliora found herself in a world where everything was covered in snow. Snow slowly and majestically fell from the sky, creating a mesmerizing view. The forests were covered with a snow-white blanket, and the icy branches of the trees sparkled like precious stones. The air was crystal clear, but cold and piercing, making Eliora shiver even through her warm clothes.

Each step left deep footprints in the snow, and the princess quickly realized that she needed to find someone who could help her navigate this cold and mysterious world. The snow settled on her shoulders, and she walked, trying not to miss the slightest hint that could help her in her search.

Suddenly, among the snow-covered trees, she noticed a creature that at first seemed to her just a snowball. However, upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a snowman with kind, luminous eyes and a good-natured smile. His body was covered with snow and ice, but despite that, he looked warm and cozy.

- Greetings, traveler! - said Snegur, and his voice sounded in the frosty air like the ringing of bells. His voice was soft and pleasant. - I am Snegur, the guardian of this winter forest. How can I help you on this cold day?

Eliora, surprised by the unexpected meeting, relaxed a little. "Hello, Snegur. I am Princess Elyora of Lunaria. My brother, Prince Loren, has disappeared, and I am using a magical amulet to search for him in other worlds. The sage said that Lauren might be here. Have you by any chance seen him or heard of him?"

Snegur thought about it, and his eyes sparkled like snow stars. "Yes, I saw a boy with golden hair and clear eyes making his way through this forest. He was looking for a way into the world of fire. His footprints lead to a large cave at the edge of this world. There's a magical portal that will take you to another world.

Eliora felt her heart beat faster with relief. "Can you take me to this cave?"

Snegur nodded. "I'll be happy to help. This forest is full of magic and dangers. I know the safe way, but be careful. The cave is protected by magical creatures and trials."

They began their journey through the winter forest. Snegur led Eliora along secret paths, pointing to the sparkling crystals that illuminated the way, and avoiding places where the ice could be dangerously slippery. As they walked, Snegur talked about his world: how winter magic maintains balance, and how he himself became the guardian of this snowy kingdom.

Soon, they reached the edge of the forest, where a majestic cave could be seen. The entrance to the cave was masked by ice cliffs that shimmered with blue light. Snegur stopped at the entrance.

"That's where we are. The cave is really guarded, and you may encounter difficulties. But remember that with this amulet you can open a portal to another world. Good luck, Princess. May magic and love help you on your journey.

Eliora thanked Snegur and, hugging him goodbye, entered the cave. Inside, she was greeted by walls of ice sparkling like precious stones and strange sounds that made her heart ache. She knew that she still had many challenges ahead of her, but her determination to find Lauren and bring him home gave her strength.

Her eyes sparkled with excitement and hope as she continued her journey deeper into the cave, eager to find a way out and the next portal. She had to overcome everything to get back.
