Creators Note: Haha! Two chapters in one day! Got you surprised didn't I? There's a poll here. Should I make two chapters or one chapter a day? I can't make two chapters every day though. And it takes quite a toll to make even one chapter but I'll get through it.

Now. To the story!

Our Hero... Arita... Has a duel with the arrogant swordshero Jav.

Jav is considerably weaker than Arita. But what if Jav uses cheats? No rules were placed on the duel of Jav and Arita.

And there was no say in the matter of using people from the outside to buff the dueller.

But does Arita care? No.

The duel has begun. The entire collouseum is filled with people. It is the first ever duel in Luminate Online. Even the NPC's have gathered. There have been bets. Most of them on Jav though. Only Janitha has placed a bet on Arita.

Even the lord of Aurora came to see the commotion. This duel is going to be considered the "First Player-made Event"

The duel... Has begun between the two. Arita stands and waits for Jav to attack. His plan is simple. Be Patient, then strike like a lion and faster than lightning.

Jav... Has another idea. He is waiting for the magic circles he has placed around to gather enough mana to buff him. But even with those buffs he couldn't match to Arita's strength. Arita is currently the #1 player in the game. But NOBODY except a few NPC's and Janitha knows it.

Jav... Waits. Arita... Waits. The collouseum is filled with excitement... No wonder there is some pressure on the contestants.

Then suddenly... Jav charges. Arita's plan goes into action. He blocks the attack and then goes to the right of Jav... The weaker side. And then strikes with full strength and full speed. The attack hits Jav... It looks like Lightning and A lion's image combined into one and attacked the side of Jav...

Jav didn't faint. Magic barriers appeared. Apparently all the magic circles gathered into one shield. But the attack Arita made... Broke them. The momentum and the strength of the attack was only half of it's former self but still got Jav down to 15% health.

From the right side of Jav blood was bursting out. You could even see some bone. One meter away from Jav was Arita. He was riddled with blood because of Jav's wound. Everywhere was Jav's blood. Jav was surprised about the attack but soon recovered and striked again.

Arita parried. He hit Jav with a small fast attack. Jav's HP is now 5%. Jav can't use his right hand anymore. His right side is COMPLETELY obliterated now. His left side is very damaged. It's impressive Jav hasn't fainted. Arita... Stands strong with 100% HP remaining.

But what he didn't know is that ONE magic circle was still there. It hit Arita with a surprise lightning attack. It took all the magic power from the area and compressed it into a lightning strike and it struck Arita's back. Right where the heart should be.

Arita screamed with pain as the lightning hit his back. Blood was coming out of Arita's mouth. Everybody was surprised by the attack. Jav was grinning. Arita... Had 25% health left from the attack.

Arita... Was enraged. He didn't expect Jav to result to such dishonorable acts. He moved towards Jav with his bloodlust showing. Behind Arita was... The image of an enranged dragon. The dragon was very big but it was coiled behind Arita. The dragon had big blue eyes and was green. It had the aura of a divine mob.

Divine mobs were monsters who were VERY powerful in the Luminate Online wiki. Nobody has actually met one but the aura was clearly knowable.

Jav... Was afraid. An enraged Arita was approaching him raising an iron sword. Arita was infront of Jav who was on his knees. Arita's sword was up in the air. Arita only looked down on Jav before striking into Jav's head.

The moment the hit landed blood bursted everywhere and soon Jav's body disintegrated. This was the first ever PVP between players. And the first player death in Luminate.

Everybody was shocked.

They knew they could respawn but it took very long to respawn. 12 hours in the real world.

That's why PVP wasn't a thing.

The bloodlust of Arita dissapeared soon afture and the crowd was shocked. Even the king was shocked but interested in the player named "Arita".

He ordered soldiers to surround Arita. Arita didn't care and struck down the guards who were weaker than players. He calmly left with his entire body being covered with blood.

When he walked towards the potion maker everybody screamed.

A 13-year old looking player was completely covered with blood.

Creators Note - I don't believe i described Arita's appearance yet... I'll do it now.

Arita... He looked 13 years old. Completely white hair due to the shock. His eyes were blue. Ocean blue. His hair reached to his shoulders.

Arita was 1 meter and 70 centimeters tall. He was currently wearing the  ghost boots he got from a weekly boss fight, enchanted light armor and some regular pants.

When he reached the potion maker... The potion maker almost fainted. But luckily Cawer regained from the... Sight.

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

He quickly gave Arita aka the bloody mess a potion to heal him. He told Arita to go to the baths to clean himself and to go in with his clothing to clean it too.

Eric saw Arita enter Cawer's house fully bloody and rushed over.

Eric: "Oi! Arita! What happened!"

Arita: "The duel. That's what happened."

Eric: "Oh yeah there was something about a duel... We from the crafting alley have no interest in fighting. That's why we stayed here. We would've come if you would've told us you were there."

Arita: "I won."

Eric: "Against Jav right."

Arita: "Over your sword. Remember?"

Eric: "Yeah yeah. I didn't know the duel was going to be this big a deal though. Oh i'll go get your sword."

Arita: "That will help. I can't bother to move myself a lot. I exhausted myself mentally."

Cawer: "Afture cleaning yourself take a nap."

Arita: "I will potion maker."

Eric rushes to get the sword. Cawer looks over Arita. Arita patiently waits for Eric.

When Eric gets back he hands Arita a sword.

A pop-up comes up.

Gained Masterpiece sword from the smith of Aurora, Eric.

Arita: "Thanks!"

Eric: "No problem! By the way... What did Jav look like while being defeated?"

Arita: "Shocked when I killed him."

Eric: "You... Killed... Him?`"

Arita: "He'll come back. We.. Players... Come back to life afture dying."

Eric: "Oh... I thought you would be branded as a murderer."

Arita: "Don't worry about that."

Eric: "Have fun with your sword though."

Arita: "I should be heading to the baths. Where are they exactly?"

Eric: "Go back towards the collouseum. They are left of the collouseum. You should see a huge building"

Arita: "Thanks!"

Arita heads to the baths and while doing that looks at the details of the new sword.

Masterpiece Iron Sword - Crafted by a very great smith. This sword is greatly better than any other iron sword. It has 300 durability and does 50-55 damage per hit.

Arita: "Nice... Such an improvement."

Arita reaches the baths and then the person in charge of the baths asks him to sign a paper. But Arita... Can't write. Mostly because he can't use his limbs in real life so nobody has really taught him.

The person in charge of the baths asks him for his name.

Arita: "I'm Arita. 18 years old. One of the players."

??? (bath owner.): "Affirmative... Male right?"

Arita: "Yup."

???: "Go right from here and into one of the baths. Doesn't matter which one."

Arita: "Thank you."

Arita heads to the baths and immediatly jumps in with his whole body when he reaches it. He goes underwater and cleans his body from all the blood. He soaks in the water for a bit until leaving. He had no point in staying.

He pays a few copper coins for the bath.

In this world 100 copper coins are 1 silver coin, 100 silver coins 1 gold, 100 gold 1 diamond coin.

He leaves and finds a random inn. Usually he slept outside but this time he wanted to sleep somewhere comfy. He pays another few coppers for a night.

He sleeps a night there and wakes up in the morning to leave.

He meets Janitha waiting for him

Janitha: "Arita..."

Arita: "Janitha..?"

Janitha: "You sure take your time waking up!"

Arita: "You were waiting?"

Janitha: "Yeah!"

Janitha (to herself): "There are so many girls afture you now... But I want you to myself."

Arita: "Did you say something? Afture the yeah?"

Janitha: "Nope! Nothing at all!"

Janitha: "What was that skill you used during the Duel. The first strong hit?"

Arita: "Oh.. I think I got a pop up for that..."

Arita re-opens the pop-up he got when he used it. He couldn't look at it during the battle.

Gained skill: Lightning Lion's strike.

Arita: "Lightning Lion's strike..."

Janitha: "Something like that huh?"

Arita: "I'll check out the details."

Lightning Lion's strike details - Strike with the power of a lion and with the speed of lightning. Those are the requierments for this skill. This skill is used by swordsmen of the highest class. This is a very powerful skill. Can only be blocked by magic shields and it shatters them if they are not strong enough.

Arita: "Something fancy huh."

Janitha (to herself): "I like you even more now..."

Arita: "Did you say something?"

Janitha: "Nope."

Arita: "We should head over and start training... Do you want to join though?"

Janitha: "Yeah!"

Arita and Janitha head out to the fields to train. Janitha heals Arita and gives him buffs. Well more like she barely does ANY healing because Arita is very strong.

Thus ends the duel and the day. What shall Arita do tomorrow? That we shall find out. Next time.
