Zorobo strolls with purpose into the prison command center. He crosses to the emerald platform and allows his wingtips to hover over the console. A holovid opens up in the center of the platform. A holovid of the Monoch figureheads. The eyes of the Monoch burn into Zorobo’s—their fury obvious even through the holographic projection.
“Security Master Zorobo...Have you been able to ascertain the identity of the infiltrator?” the Monoch’s voice thunders through the room. Zorobo straightens himself and stares at the menacing hologram in front of him.
“No, Great Monoch! But I do believe we are getting close. It is only a matter of time before we have them. Our plan is working brilliantly.”
The four eyes of the Monoch blaze with anger— a purple light dancing behind them. Zorobo’s eyes also begin to glow an energetic purple and he grows rigid.
“Our plan!?!” The Monoch thunders. “You are forgetting yourself, Security Master Zorobo!”
Zorobo bows respectfully and apologizes for the slip. “Yes, Great Monoch…I was mistaken. Your plan is working as expected.”
With another flash of anger, the Monoch's projection fades away. Zorobo remains in the same position for nearly a minute; transfixed on the spot where the holographic projection once shimmered. The bright glow of his eyes eventually fades and he shakes his helmeted head.

Modesty, Summer, and Elaine stare at Nancy’s supine form—as she lies sedated in the Intensive Care Unit. Summer’s face is contorted with disgust and she winces from time to time.
“Do you think she did it?” Summer questions.
Modesty narrows her eyes and shoots Summer a fierce glare. “Think she did what?”
Summer winces yet again and meets Modesty’s stare. “Do you think she did something to Adahlia? And maybe, that’s why she lost her mind? Like maybe, it's her conscience eating her alive? She has been acting a little….Different. Like at the creek. Do you think it’s even remotely possible?”
Elaine and Modesty exchange a glance but don’t say anything. Summer takes a step closer to the glass partition and places a hand on the cold pane.
“I do,” Summer says resignedly. “Nancy said she was gonna hurt Adahlia. And now, Adahlia's gone missing. I think she did it.”
Elaine finally speaks up. “But you don’t know that, Summer!”
Summer turns on Elaine, her eyes flashing. “You’re right. I don’t. But I know my cousin. She has a real mean streak. And she loves to hold grudges. When we were eight, she killed my pet gerbil. She was angry that her parents bought me an iphone for my birthday, and she had to wait two months before she got one on her birthday. If you’ve seen any true crime shows, you know that’s classic psycho behavior. I’ve been going along with her cruelty because I never wanted her to turn that high-powered psycho laser on me. But if she’s hurt Adahlia…She’s on her own. I won’t defend her.”
Summer turns back to the glass and the three girls stare at Nancy with varying levels of contemplation.
