He slept in on Saturday morning, it was 2 in the afternoon and I was up playing league. The red cups and pizza from last night covered up all the tables, all was in a mess. It was a nice bright, quiet day in Irvine. I went to go grab some lunch when I noticed that Jun was still asleep so I rushed over to him and I began shoving him saying,
"Jun get up, we need to practice. Next competition is coming up, you slept in the whole damn time."
Jun just growled annoyed and shifted over on the floor with the blanket laid over him. He was so lazy at times but last night was such an excitement for all of us. He's the prospect, and all were stunned back at LCS. No one's heard of the LuckyJun or our team. When we beat TSM in the finals of LCS the crowd was silent and everyone was shocked that a nobody-team defeated TSM to us 3-2 in the 5th game, where our midlaner Miguel, back doored.
He was off at work now at Red Brick's which coincidentally comprised all our pizza. The party last night was awesome, celebrating our victory over TSM. There was nothing but food, drinks, music, girls. It was great, but now it was time for business. We can't let this victory let us lay back, we still got many elite teams to face off. Now everyone has heard of Lucky Elites, or LE. Lucky M, our midlaner, Lucky Jun, our toplaner, Lucky Rod, our AD Carry, Lucky O, our jungler, and me, Lucky Nate, the support. We were just some So Cal kids, thinking a few years ago league was just for fun, now it was serious.
Jun finally woke up, and kinda stumbled around till he got his bearings. I looked at him and he said to me disgruntled,
" Where's everyone else?"
"Miguel is at work, Oliver is here working on jungle, Daniel is out with his girlfriend in the Spectrum, and you were asleep the whole time. Listen, we're known now, check the news, check the web. We are all over LoL Esports!"
"Really now?.. hehe.. nice"
"Come on man look!"
I grabbed the remote and turned on the T.V. Almost immediately the news were covering last nights match, even some unrelated to the sport itself. I just kept flipping the channels and a good majority were all over it. "Underdog team takes it all the way to Worlds" "Lucky Elites get their luck on!" "Lucky win for the Lucky Elites Men" "TSM loses to Lucky Unknowns" and so forth. It was crazy and surely shocked us.

" Wow... We really made an impact didn't we?"
Said Jun still looking in awe at all the coverage of the LCS game. I said,
"This is great, haha. Hey Oliver come take a look!"
He yelled from his room,
"Yeah I know, it's great! I'm watching it here!"
Jun and I turned our attention to the T.V. to hear the news about our team.
"To a surprising shock to the League of Legend's community was the loss of TSM to an American team called LEM, or Lucky Elites Men. Little is known about this group or how they came to be. The members of the team are not quite well known to the community according to fans of foreign nations to the U.S. Locally, LEM has dominated in competitions in California and smaller tier matches. Members of TSM were clearly stunned by this underdog team's performance last night during the LCS. *Clips of TSM members are shown in awe, during the match* It could be said that TSM was having a bad day, or were over confident of their opponent. Nonetheless, this match was thought to be of a clear win for TSM to take it to Worlds, but that is not the case now. LEM defeated TSM 3-2 in game 5, with an amazing back-door by their midlaner Lucky M. Overall, this event will go down in history for the League community, and we will definitely be looking forward to LE's performance in Worlds."
Jun and I looked in pride and joy as everything was falling into our favor. The hype was real, it was only a matter of time before sponsors rolled in. It was 3 now, and it was our time to get ready for our daily practices. On a normal day it would have been from 9 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon. That's a lengthy time, but we take breaks in between. Today was just a lazy day due to our recent major success.
I walked out of the living room to Oliver's room.
