Chapter 2

My father dropped me in front of a school. It looked similar to the academy in my previous world. However, what I saw put me off. Students were making out right in front of the school and it made no sense.

In Lucia's former world, when she arrives everyone comports him or herself. If you don't you will be heading straight for the gallows. But in this world, no one gives a fuck about her.

When I entered the school compound everyone stopped whatever they were doing and looked at me. It seemed my beauty had captured everyone's attention.

I walked in the pathway created by the people. I also walked majestically just like I would have as a princess. The air blew silently which made my hair move in the direction of the wind. This made my fragrance engulf that area.

I went to one boy and asked him for direction but he brushed seriously and stammered when he told me. I blew him a kiss in the air as a thank you and went my way. I wanted the other guys to beat him up and of course, they did out of jealousy. I hated how he stood there looking at me foolishly. His dressing and also had dirt on them and that stupid reaction of his made me sick. That is why I hate peasants. I plugged in my earphones and listened to music.

I had now gotten used to this mirror they call a phone and it helps a lot. I head straight for the classroom as directed and choose a seat beside the window. I looked outside and started at the morning sun.

Lucia's beauty had become a major topic among the people in school. Whiles others admired her others also envied her. People had flocked from other classes just to have a glance at her. Lucia was used to such attention and didn't make it any different from her previous world.

At the same time, a boy came into the class and went to sit beside Lucia. No one could tell him to get up because that was his place. He sat down and ignored Lucia like she didn't even exist. This was the first time something like this had happened but she was happy. She has this interesting fellow by her side.

A few minutes later a beautiful woman entered the classroom. She looked like someone in her early twenties but had an air of maturity around her. " My name is Carla McBrow and I will be your classroom teacher for the next three years. Why don't we all introduce ourselves and get to know each other."She said smiling.

When it got to my turn everyone had their eyes on me and waited patiently to hear my voice. From a very young age, I had been trained how to address people. I stood up majestically cleared my throat silent and began. "My name is Lucia Antonia Sweets and am happy to meet you all," I said smiling revealed my nice set of white teeth. I sat down quietly and suddenly loud applause began to fill the room. I sat down and ignored everyone. I got to know the boy sitting with me was called Lean Clark and also he was 16 years old. His looks weren't bad but he could look more handsome when he gets the right treatments.

After this everything that happened next was strange. The teachers used a white substance to write on the board. They also gave us some strange books which insulted magic. One was water is made up of 2 atoms of hydrogen and one atom of. oxygen. But as the teacher explained it further it made sense. We learned a lot of science stuff and headed out for a break.

Suddenly a large number of girls surrounded me and began to ask how I got this skin and why am so beautiful. I told them if they aren't as beautiful as I am they should walk away. After this comment, most of the girls walked away. Some had tears in their eyes and some with hate and jealousy. I choose 3 girls who meet my standards and hang out with them.

Whiles, we were heading to class. A senior with a crew-cut hairstyle and a long nose came up to me." I heard your name is Lucia and I want to hang out with you." He said with confidence. I walked past him and stood behind his back and said" You don't meet my standards and you smell and stink. I don't even think you know what personal hygiene means." I said to him making it possible for all pass Byers to hear. My girls also gave him a piece of their minds and walked away from him. With this, I informed other guys who don't meet my standards not to mess with me.

A school without magic wasn't so bad it was fun and the technology we used made learning interesting. Heading for my father's black car noticed the boys present had created a pathway for me and my friends. Everything was perfect and very soon I will have this school under my feet.
