Instead of the Usual video game displays in the Window, a sign in big letters read “Everything Must go for renovations, Everything 80% off.” We’re filled with Childlike glee as we walk into the store, the Atmosphere, and the Nostalgic smells are awesome and give me chills every time we come here. The cashier was a Skinny man wearing a Uniform with different characters. Mainly Atari characters. Frank smiled at us as we walked in “Hey there! you boys haven’t been here in at least a month, I thought you guys were dead or even worse, Broke” We chuckle giving him a Handshake. “Come on Frank” Regan taunted, “You know if we stopped coming to your store, you’d go out of business” Frank’s father used to own the store, and when he retired Frank took over. We get some new and old gen arcade machines coming, it’s gonna be “Lit”” We groan “Dear god Never say that again” “I Literally almost died from hearing that” “i almost punched you honestly” Frank rolled his eyes “hurry up and buy what you want” We didn’t need to be told twice and begin exploring like kids in a candy store. Jack was a big fan of PC’ so he’s looking for new RTXs, Regan Loves a good RPG Especially Retro games. So he’s looking for old game Cartridges. Meanwhile I love any game, as long as it caught my attention so I had a Mix of different games. But today I was looking for a few particular figurines. My eyes widen in excitement as I see those figures in their poses. “They’re still here!” I picked up one of them. A Little ball of Fuzz, with a long tongue holding two golden Pistols. “Frank, you sneaky bastard, I knew you were holding out on me!” Skylanders was a good part of my life. I remember when my grandma bought me the first game and we would save our money to buy Skylanders. We had so much fun. I Held Trigger Happy in my hands. I remember this one being my grandma's Favorite Because it reminded her of The Chihuahua she had as a kid. I’m buying this one. I place it in my cart and I weave through the ones whether I have it or not. Looking for one in Particular. “Hey, Where’s Gnarly Tree-Rex? You said he’d be here Frank” Frank Winces at me. “Sorry Bud, I sold it to some Scary Latina Chick” Saying that Caught all of our attention “Dang it Frank now you got him started” Jack muttered. Jack sets his items on the checkout counter. “What’s gotten into him?’” Jack rolled his eyes amused “That girl's Sabrina Lupin, she goes to our school and Casey’s head over heels for her.” “He’s been after her for years!” Regan Shouts from across the room. I scoff defensively, crossing my arms. “So what if I am? I’m this close to getting her to go out with me." Jack chuckles carrying over an Rtx 2080 “Close? The Last time she spoke to you, she Yelled at you in Spanish for 5 minutes straight” And I Enjoyed every minute of it. “Water under the bridge” “It was two weeks ago-” “-Silence!” I sigh as I pay for my items “but this is my In! Frank just said that she bought a Skylander! If I bring up the Skylanders we’ll have a conversation and that conversation is my In!” ‘Reagan reaches the counter with his copy of Bloodborne. “Your gonna fuck it up dude” Jack leans against the counter “I bet you five dollars he mess it up” I glare at them “some friends you are, and your not in any positions to be making bets right now, I want my two games when I come back”. “I Believe in you Casey” Frank admitted with a thumbs up. I gave a thumbs up to frank “thanks franks” I look toward Regan and Jack. ”fella’s wish we luck, or don’t you guys are assholes” I smirk at them before taking a deep breathe and approaching Sabrina.
