First edition: Chapter 1; Part 2

The young man first checked the facial expression of the pastor, then took notice of the guest. The heartwarm, mature man used an arm gesture towards the heavy chair besides him. Chris chose not to try move the chair and then just sat himself down into it. He would have preferred it to be further away from the desk. Resting his arms on the support of the leather covered armchair, his arms got hot and sweaty where the skin touched the leather. Longing for pulling the drapes aside and opening the windows, he resisted and his Tshirt got wet under his arms. It occurred how strange it was, sitting in Hell when in a churchoffice. As a matter of fact, it resembled his situation quite well. The heat on him was outside and inside. Without any noticable facial expression of his own, he looked towards the distingtive man besides him. How could he stand this sultring room and still wear his nice suit with no sign of sweat or discomfort. On the contrary, he looked like a fish in the water and his loving ambience touched Chris and made him relax a bit, forgetting his situation. The guest kindly brought him back to reality

Chris wondered why the pastor didn’t add to the conversation, being the man who always have so many words needing to come out.

Instantly this information pushed Chris towards the right decision. At least that is what he senses for himself. Getting away from his life here, his new life at the church. Turning his back to the “incident” that costs him so much. And totallty unjust and unfair.
