PART 1
Two days later, we found our unlikely pair working hard in the heart of a ruined spaceport, the city's sole gateway to the vast expanse of outer space.
Inside, Mark had discarded his shirt, revealing a sun-kissed and well-toned torso that glistened with sweat under the sunlight.
He strained his upper muscles, pulling with all his might on a long piece of metal.
Something resembling a mecha's shin-armor, at least it appeared so.
“Come on, Cat. We don’t have all day!”
He smiled, glancing sideways as he urged Catherine to pull her own piece.
Catherine hesitated for a moment, her gaze shifting from the metal piece beside her to Mark.
“Master… I mean Mark.”
Catherine paused, her voice wavering slightly as she addressed him.
Her gaze shifted to the team of mechanics nearby, who observed them while smiling foolishly at their antics.
“I can’t pull this thing alone.”
To make her point clear, she kicked the enormous mecha hand that weighted enough to need a team of Markels to lounge around.
Mark just shrugged nonchalantly. “I told you to call me super husband in public.”
He paused his steps, his green eyes narrowing as he fixed a glare on a pair of lazy mechanics.

They had been leaning casually against his Titan armor's leg, seemingly unconcerned by their predicament.
“You pair of scumbags! Your leader needs help here! What are you doing!”
The pair had their eyes widen in fright as they registered his words.
“Sir, yes sir!”
They got into their obedient mode, their faces flushed red as they awkwardly scrambled to get off the metallic leg.
Then, they rushed to Catherine's side, their faces eager to please.
“Please, Leader. You should have called us sooner.”
They implored, their enthusiasm palpable as they tried to get on her good side.
Catherine just had her forehead emit a sweatdrop as she observed their antics.
“It’s fine.” She reassured them kindly. “Mark just likes to joke around.”
She innocently explained to the workers with a soothing voice.
But then, she turned to glare at Mark, a playful exasperation in her expression.
“Husband, you’re making me look bad.”
Mark shrugged as he exerted himself once more, pulling on the piece of metal. With each step, he advanced closer to his mecha.
“Mah! You still need to pull your weight around or they will take advantage of me.”
His words carried a playful undertone, and a mischievous glint filled his green eyes.
Catherine responded with a pure expression.
“Its’s fine. They are inoffensive.”
She regarded the workers around them with a gentle smile.
This made the workers around them smile foolishly. However, their expressions turned dark at her next words.
“Besides, if they try something funny, I’m sure you’ll make them explode.”
Mark just laughed out loud happily.
“Of course!”
Hearing the proclamation of their leader’s lover, the workers had a chill run down their spines.
Exchanging uneasy gazes, they nodded among themselves as they got hands on to work.
They had a Titan Armor to repair and a city to protect.
