The Lighthouse

A beacon of moderation, knowledge and human sensibility, filled with love for life and justice, sometimes naive because of his own childish innocence. He was born in a family with a lot of love and union.

Someone that was remarkable in his social skills, always lending a hand even to the worst of his enemies, the ones that bullied him because of being different, he told to anyone that forgiving was the most valuable heal that someone can have, his parents were amazed by how resolute was their son. But hiding behind the curtains of himself, there was sadness, anger and a disdain for the trap he was in. It was an eternal fight with thoughts like: "You're no one", "you can't change anything", "you should be dead by now". That part of him, he wanted it to disappear all because he was told: "You can be better, I'm sure!" and it was pointless. Cried a lot, until his heart became numb and the voices changed the message: "everything doesn't matter anymore". He was blinded by his ego, unable to see that the loss of some part is the recipe to create chaos.

He always liked the view of the beach in dusk time, feeling the chills of the night that was coming through and remembering him that not everything in the dark is bad by itself. The landscape was lit by every street light, the lullaby of the waves and the white sound of the cars passing was the reality check to him.

It came to him, the moment to know that he had to accept everything without any positive or negative emotion, just to breathe the salty air of today and be grateful to still be alive.

Things started to turn for the better, his face showed a slight peaceful mood, his weights were lifted and it felt like he wanted to fly high.

It took long to realize how to work with himself and he hopes to help everyone that gets lost in the ocean to seek for the land again.

And so, he became again the lighthouse, a brighter than ever one.
