Just as the evening broke through, bodies had littered the ground, limbs lying far and wide. The ground was dyed completely with blood, the heavy metallic smell and the shine that reflected off the dark red was almost mesmerizing.
But at the center… knelt a man, holding a long spear in one hand whilst the other lies somewhere in the millions of bodies lost for eternity. The sun glistening off the dried blood that had turned almost black on his once bright silver armor would make even the most awe inspiring painters drool with need.
Though if one could cover their eyes from the sunlight they would see the truth, eleven spears had been gutted through his body, a majority in his chest while a few through his legs all seemingly to try and slow him down.
"Why slow him down?" an outsider who had not been around during the epidemic would most definitely question. One might not even believe this scene unless they were to see it with their very own pupils. Nonetheless, just as a fictional story, the man had fought one versus one million. But he was not at all happy in this moment.

Going close to the man, the very man with the spear in one hand, spears going through him, and covered in blood, one could see more... the silky smooth black hair that slightly reflected off his ocean blue irises. His very defined face that looked even mythical. However, he was all in all a very suave guy even while dying from blood loss as the last living creature on the battlefield. Looking closely, tears welled in his beautiful eyes. He was not saying anything in this moment, unless someone had been brave enough to even approach the man, he would still need to put his ear up to his mouth to hear his murmurs.
"Sister... mother... I'm sorry... brother... father... I have failed." As the man said those words he took one last glance at the startling evening sky. Then slowly one last tear had dripped out of his eyes and his last breath was heard. The entire forest surrounding the battlefield all seemed to wail and shake with resonance at the fall of the almost godly being.
