Relaxing jazz music plays over the soft mood of the restaurant with the pleasant smell of Lavender, Abby kicks open the restaurant door, sweat dripping down her face. She looks around, and a bright smile spreads across her face when she spots Julian., Abby hurries over to Julian

"Sorry I'm late!" said Abby, Julian, usually always smiling, wore a look of disgust as he eyed her disheveled dress.

Abby curious as to why the Julian who is always filled with glee had such a gloomy face sat across him and asked "Hey, what's wrong?".

Julian snaps "What's wrong? look at you!! you're a mess, an embarrassment!!", Abby's eyes widened, her breath caught her throat, unsure how to respond, Abby wonders what has happened to Julian. Why was he mad? did I do something wrong?.

those thoughts popped up in Abby's mind, as she was thinking of reasons as to why Julian was acting like that, a messaged popped up in Julian's phone.

He quickly picked it up and his face that was filled with annoyance and anger suddenly became bright once again, Abby thought something good must have happened and Julian was now in a good mood.

Abby askes Julian "What's that Julian? something good happened?", Abby's question had received no reply from Julian.

Abby askes once again "Julian, What was that?" her voice quivered, her fingers gripping the edge of the table, to again receive no response from Julian.

Abby’s jaw clenched, her hands shaking as she grabbed Julian’s phone.

She only managed to read one of the messages, it read "I love you too Hannah".

Abby stood still in anger, not just because she found out that her boyfriend whom she dated for 2 years is cheating with her childhood best friend.

But also, because she gave him everything to make him happy just to find out what he was doing behind her back!

Abby clutched her chest, feeling a heavy weight settle there, as if her heart was shattering into tiny pieces., she felt weak and worthless, tears flowed down her cheeks, Abby Burst out the restaurant eyes blurry with tears.

Abby could barely see where she was going, her footsteps pounding the pavement harmonious with the frantic beating of her heart.

Abby felt the cold air of the night hit her face drying her tears, Abby collapses on a bench, exhausted from running.

She forgot about here exhaustion as the pain from the recent breakup catches up to her, She started doubting herself Why did this happen to me? I did what i was told to do, so why? am I just Unlovable?. These negative thoughts disappeared as she sees a man across the street crying.

Abby heard his cries and wanted to approach however she wasn't confident that she could comfort a person when she was also going through something.

The crushing guilt of hearing his cries bothered Abby too much and she couldn't hold herself back from approaching him and comforting him, The soft hear of Abby was one of her biggest weaknesses.

Abby approached the man and asked him if he was ok, as the man heard her voice he quickly panicked and tried to get away but she reassured him that she wasn't gonna judge him.

Abby introduced herself to the man, he hesitantly introduced himself as Jake.

"Jake huh, I like your name Jake" said Abby "so why are you out here crying Jake?".

Jake sat down next to Abby and wiped his tear "Well... My girlfriend was texting another man during our date, i felt betrayed and ran off" he murmured, his voice shaky.

Abby nods feeling empathetic "I'm sorry that must feel awful".

Jake sighed as he looked at his hands rubbed his hands together "It just hurts because I dedicated a lot to her—time, money, effort and she does this to me" Jake looked at Abby "I actually though we had something you know?" his eyes began to tear up.

Abby understanding how he feels like decided to share her own story, Jake chuckled because of the coincidence of what they have went through, "what are the odds we would go through the same thing on the same day right?", they both laugh about the coincidence.

Abby got lost in Jake's beautiful blue eyes also on his Gentle face, almost delicate quality to it, like a boy from a dream, his skin was flawless, like a porcelain, with a hint of warmth he almost gave an angelic glow, and a smile that lights up the night sky, Abby was drawn in by him.

As Abby got lost staring at Jake's eyes her phone rang, Abby's parents concerned about her, Abby quickly stood up and asked Jake for his contact information, as soon as he game it to her she ran off.

Jake smiled as he looked at Abby, almost forgetting about his ex Hannah
