Synopsis

Damian wakes up in a strange white void with a weird splotch of blood on his t-shirt, but after removing it, he sees that there is nothing on him that could’ve caused it, and weirdly his scars from an accident are gone... Then he meets a little girl that gives him 2 options, become her champion and compete in the great game and conquer the galaxy or go to hell. There will be a chapter every 3 days, unless something unexpected happens. Every chapter will be 2-3k words long. As you can probably understand from the cover art, this will be a light-hearted book. Note from the author: There are a few things I want to say about this book and, firstly, while there is magic and a system, there are no classes, or stats. Your strength is determined by how well you can use mana, how much mana you have, and if you can use mana at all. And this story is really not about individual prowess, so while I’ll be delving into how to get stronger, Damian won’t have training arcs, instead, he’ll be focused on growing his empire and increasing its technology and size. Other than that, while this book is soft sci-fi, the actual sci-fi part will come much, much later as Damian will have to use the systems given to him by the goddess Rae to develop his empire, and if we separate the book into 4 rough chunks, they would be continental conquest, planetary conquest, solar conquest, and interstellar/galactic conquest. And there won’t be really much of a sci-fi aspect to the book until the solar conquest part, and before that, much of the technology Damian’s empire has will be magi-tech, a mixture of magic and conventional technology. Other than that, yes, there are dungeons, but they are more like areas with an above normal levels of mana density. And, while there are dungeons that can think and do what dungeons in other fantasy stories can do, I want to portray them as things that are capable of ending civilizations and destroying a world’s ecosystem. So, when Damian has to eventually deal with dungeons on his starting continent, and then the rest of the world, it will hopefully be an entertaining war for all of you to read. Thanks for reading my note, and I hope you enjoy the book too!
