Ardi opened his population system menu panel. He saw a table containing the name, gender, age, and occupation of each of his villagers. He knew that his population was divided into 2 different classes, Combat Units and Civilian Units.
Based on the table, he had 15 Combat Units and 45 Civilian Units. The 15 Combat units consisted of 10 Ashigaru (4 Yari Ashigaru, 3 Katana Ashigaru, 2 Yumi Ashigaru, and 1 Tenppo Ashigaru), and 5 Shinobi. Civilian Units consisted of various occupations such as :

A satisfied smile spread across Ardi's face as he closed the panel. Without wasting any time, he selected the Military Tents Set Box (Green) and pressed "Retrieve." Instantly, five sturdy military tent boxs appeared, ready for setup.
"Come here," Ardi called in a warm, firm tone. "I need to set up these tents. Kazou, please help me."
A rugged man with calloused hands and earnest eyes stepped forward from the crowd of villagers. "My lord, I am Kazou, the carpenter," he said shyly, his voice tinged with uncertainty.
Kazou hesitated, glancing around at the other villagers. "But my lord, we've never built something exactly like this before... I'm afraid we might fail," he admitted, his cheeks reddening with embarrassment.
Ardi's expression softened. He glanced at Yui for reassurance. With a gentle smile, Yui stepped forward and said to the group, "Don't worry. The skills you need are already within you. Our system has given you the knowledge you had before. I believe in each of you."
Encouraged by Yui's words, Kazou relaxed. Ardi then handed out the five boxes containing the military tents and their accessories to the villagers. With renewed determination, the group set to work.
Ardi said kindly but firmly, "Ren, lead the Shinobi squad to scout for Resource Spots within a 1 km radius. Return immediately if there's any problem. And Kenshin, lead your group of ashigaru on a patrol within 200 meters of the Daimyo Manor. Stay alert."
Before leaving, both the shinobi and ashigaru bowed their heads and whispered, "Yes, My lord" then went off to their tasks.
Ardi joined the rest of the villagers to assemble the military tents. For about an hour, they hammered, tied, and set up the tents. When the last tent was up, Ardi smiled with quiet satisfaction. He had given his people a temporary shelter—an important step toward building their new life.
Amid the busy work, Ardi noticed mixed expressions on the villagers' faces—some awe, some anxiety. Sensing their unease, he gathered them together and said, "Please, everyone, relax. There's nothing to fear here. I want you to see me—and my lady—not just as your lord, but as someone who cares about each and every one of you. Let's be a family that supports one another."
A murmur of agreement and relieved smiles spread among the villagers. In a calm voice, Ardi continued, "I invite you all to take a rest now. Enjoy our time together. And for lunch, I ask our talented chefs—Shigeru, Daisuke, Noriko, and Satsuki—to prepare a meal for everyone. Anyone who wants to help in the kitchen is welcome inside the manor."
Once the villagers were settled, Ardi slipped away quietly to a shaded spot under a large tree. The midday heat had left beads of sweat on his brow. As he took a moment to rest, he thought about the day's progress with quiet satisfaction.
From a distance, Yui watched him with gentle concern. Silently, she approached and, with playful grace, pulled a delicate handkerchief from under her white dress. Stepping close, she gently dabbed the sweat from Ardi's face.
Before he could ask, Yui pressed her finger lightly to his lips and whispered teasingly, "It's a girl's secret, Master. You don't need to know how I keep my treasures."
Ardi rolled his eyes in amused exasperation and smiled warmly. "I understand, Yui," he replied softly, his voice full of affection and gratitude.
After their brief moment of light-heartedness, Yui grew thoughtful. "Master, why not check the live map? You can use the building design features there to plan our village layout."
"Map," Ardi said, and a virtual panel appeared before him. The live map showed several moving points to the south, indicating his Shinobi position on the coast area.
Ardi studied the map carefully. His Daimyo Manor sat proudly on a hill in the southern region of Avalon Island. Around his domain, the land spread out: rugged hills to the north, lush fields and a winding river to the east, dense forests to the west, and a sparkling coastline to the south.
Yui pointed to the map and said, "Using the Construction Buildings feature, you can design our village just the way you envision it. I suggest dividing it into four sectors: the north for industry, the east for homes and farms, the south for entertainment and maritime activities, and the west for government and military."
Ardi nodded thoughtfully, his eyes scanning the map and the promise it held. "A well-planned community, where every sector works together. Maybe it's time to choose a name for our new home—something that reflects our unity, strength, and shared journey."
A nearby young villager whispered to another, "My lord's vision is like a beacon for us." Another softly added, "Yes, under his guidance, we will build a true home."
Ardi's heart swelled with responsibility and pride. Standing under the wide, comforting sky, surrounded by his people and supported by Yui, he felt his destiny lighten just a little.
"Thank you, everyone," he said warmly, addressing the villagers and his steadfast companion. "Let's move forward together as one family. Today, we lay the foundation not just for a village, but for a future filled with hope."
Under the ancient tree's shade, with the live map lighting up his plans, Ardi prepared to shape the destiny of Avalon Island—a destiny about building not only structures but also strong bonds and communities.
