POV: Vile
My staff shown a dark red with small runes circling around it; I shot five black lightning strikes at the old lady. I wanted her to turn to nothing just like the dwarves. The room brightened blinding me for a second, after my eyes readjusted the old lady was nowhere to be found.
“You young ones are always about action first and talking second. A voice said.
I turned around to see the old lady behind me a few meters away. I shot forward switching out my staff to my swords; I was right in front of her when she lifted up her hand.
“Boy you are just a new born chick trying to fight a wolf.
She smacked me across the face sending me through the air. I hit the wall with a thud.
“You think you are going to walk in my library and steal from under my nose, I don’t know who you are or where you came from. I just know that no human can get past that wall and those enchanted doors, unless you are something that shouldn’t still be on this world anymore.
“I thought grannies are supposed to care for kids, not smack them senseless. I said standing up. I looked up at her and smiled.
She pulled out a book and chanted a few words. The ground started to shake and tremble. From outside the room two giant statues walked in. the ones I saw before now had mean looking facial expressions. Their skin was trembling as the rock skin tone they once had crumbled off reviling thick brown fur. They both let out a roar and charged at me.
“That’s not all this grannie can do. She chuckled.
The first cow reaches me and lifted up his foot, I dodged it has it slams it down. I ran to the old lady, but a shield hits me from the side. Me feet slide back against the floor, I open a rift behind the old lady summoning an elite from the lair. It walks out with its four legs and arms and thrust at the back of the old lady. I smile and shout out.
“I guess I win.
“No boy you lose.
The elite arm hits something in mid thrust and its arm is sent back, the lady turns around and chants. A thin gust of wind cuts the elite in half.

“That was pretty good. I said running along the arm of the statue. I reach its neck and cut across it running along its chest. The cow stumbles back and falls down not getting up again.
“You are to boy. The old lady said hackling.
The last cow ran at me thrusting out its spear, I summon a couple of fire balls and send them at its face. It raises its shield and blocks them. I jumped up over the shield bringing my blades down on its head, it lets out a mournful roar and falls down.
“Hey grannie you should know that I’m not even serious right now, but if you answer a few questions I’m curious about then I might kill you quick.
“I am not telling a foul evil race like you anything, for thousands of years I have guarded the secret with in the chest. Many people and creatures died off just to see your kind destroyed and the fact that a lord stands before me in this place can only mean the great prophecy was true.
“I giggled. For someone who just said they are not going to tell me nothing sure did tell me a lot, I guess you’re useful so it’s your lucky day.
I summon rifts all around us and pour in all my elites.
“You think I can’t destroy theses damn creations of yours again. She said.
“Well the one you killed was just a prototype when I was making them, let’s see how you fair off with the final product. The elites spread out and attacked in waves, the old lady was good and lasted for a while. Pretty soon she was breathing hard and had sweat dripping from her body.
“Fight me you bastard! She said blasting a fire ball at a elite who moved to the side.
“Ok I was getting bored anyway. I said making the golems stand down.
“You are a fool if you think I am going to let you leave here alive with that chest!
She started to chant.
“Oh gods of the round hear my plea, stands before me is a creature that should not be, descend upon the judgement of three and strike down the abomination before me.
A swirling vertex of light appeared above us, little lighting of golden color cracked around the room. A beam of light shot from the vortex and headed towards me. The old lady started to laugh in a tired voice.
“This is the spell that dealt the finishing blow to your kinds evil king, feel honored that the spell my master used is being used on something like yourself. This spell is so powerful that even my life will be a sacrifice just to cast it, for this spell to take a life one must be given, as the same for my master.
The room lit up so bright the golden doors turned white, shadows where printed onto the wall and will forever remain. The engravings on the wall were erased leaving nothing but a smooth white wall and the imprint of shadows. The light deemed and disappeared.
“Now I can finally meet my master. The old lady said
The light was gone and I was standing in the same place.
“no…noooo! how is this possible?!
“That was a nice little warmth, thank you old lady it was getting a little chilly down here.
“I have failed master. The lady collapsed on the floor sobbing in tears.
I walked towards her and yanked her by the hair, her face contorted in pain. I dragged her to her feet and locked eyes with her. She looked into them with fear.
“You are a monster of monsters. She said in a spiteful voice mixed with fear.
“You will truly know how much a monster I am when we play later.
My laugh echoed in the room.
