[Author Note: New Story Announcement & Update On Book #3]

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well!

I wanted to do a one-off post here to give you all an update on what's going on (I promise this won't be a regular occurence!) Two things, really:

I've got a New Story: The Hero Slayers!

It's a 'David vs Goliath' story about a man, cruelly killed by one of the great and powerful Heroes, now seeking revenge. Start reading now or check out the blurb below:

> Revenge is simple. Revenge against the most powerful people in the world? Not so much.

>

> If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

>

> Styk used to look up to Players. He used to think they were heroes — honourable without question. And then one killed him.

>

> After a stolen artifact gives him a second chance, Styk has a blank slate and a unique opportunity. Armed with familiar blade skills combined with new portal magics, he might just get the justice he so desperately seeks.

>

> But if he’s going to succeed against someone as powerful as a Player, he’s going to need two things: a decent team, and a damn good plan.

> The Hero Slayers is a litRPG adventure comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously. Expect zany antics, bizarre situations, and, shall we say, creative uses of skills.

I'm Back Working On Loopkeeper!

After some less than enthusiastic responses to book #2, Orpheus Rises, (I think the key problem here was not being overt enough that Sham was slowly becoming a villain - just because he's the protagonist, I didn't mean to imply he was good!) I took a little break from it. During this time, I've renewed my enthusiasm for it and I'm back being passionate about (what I think is) an awesome story.

I'm currently in the process of retooling it slightly to put a bit more emphasis on progression than I'd initially intended, but I think this is going to be for the better. I can't wait to bring you the closing book in this series - buckle up, because it's going to be a bumpy ride!

Until then, why not join me over at Hero Slayers?

Peace out!
