We've done it.
It's at this point that I can de facto nicely conclude the first book of the series. Written in a way that doesn't make me puke. Wow. Seriously, wow. It's going to need another rewrite to be publishable on Kindle or something (YES I KNOW IT'S VERY GOOD ALREADY BUT I NEED IT EVEN BETTER OR I'LL BE TERRIFIED OF THE IDEA OF PEOPLE PAYING FOR IT AND THEN NOT LIKING IT).
Yeah.
I'll continue publishing, mostly because I want to have at least a rough draft of another book done. What if I suddenly get an idea for some ingenious plottwist, but then discover that it feels bad without a proper foreshadowing a book earlier/would be better if some talk a book earlier was written differently AFTER the first book was published? Terrible.
Be aware of one thing - from now on, we're back to being officially on the first draft. Quality will probably decrease a bit. I'll do my best, but can't promise to keep the current level (since the first book is de facto a second draft). If you read thus far, consider rating the story on the basis of the concluded book one (so chapters 1-38). And on book 2 focus on throwing in some ideas/theories/suggestions and so on, since I know how much of a shitty mess (from plot side) my first drafts tend to be.
This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.
Also if you want to support a struggling writer (who is getting married in 16 days), consider donating something to my paypal [namely here: https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/8pojYtJxZa ] since any money would be helpful in figuring out how to start living completely differently. And in writing too (since I need to figure out the former before the latter). I'd offer patreon too but holy shit I'm too dumb to set it up. Mea culpa. I'll try to do that after marriage.
The one chapter-per-day posting will continue until chapter 44, and from then onward I'll try to go for one chapter per week.
