Chapter 3.

Chapter 3.

I felt it like a wave washing over me. It was pulling me in. I walked forward while listening Nirvana's song, Lithium. Great song by the way. I had my arm over my face, trying to keep off the endless dust out of my mouth.

As I traveled out of the city, the buildings became progressivly smaller and smaller. I changed up my music back to chilled back beats at this point. Chill music goes really well with an apocalyptic wasteland, ya know? It just feels right.

Also or some odd reason I was'nt getting hungry, thirsty, or even tired for that matter. It was really odd. But just like that, I put it along with the outrageous fact that Im in another world. So I guess I simply didn't think it was necessary to think about it further.

I could see it now. Where much of the road ended along with the crumbling buildings, There was a bloody castle. Now Im no Sci-fi expert but considering the all the futuristic technology here, Im pretty sure thats not suppose to be there.  I'd say the castle was any old average castle with spires coming out of it, a wall, and a drawbridge.

The drawbridge was closed but luckily to one side there was a an abundance of dust leading up to over the wall. I went over to one of the spires at the side and went down an emercecncy ladder. It was obviously for emergencys because it was some futuristic elevator with only a pane of glass to support it. My guess was that there were holographic buttons to push but hey, just guessing here. I went to what I guessed was the courtyard, but with dust. I saw a few entrances to the big central piece of the castle and went inside.

The first floor was what looked like offices. Desks with those futuristic computer things along with a handful of other devices that I did'nt know. I traveled for some bit. Aparently this place has a floor at the top, which is the floor Im on. Theres a central area which is what I would guess was a metting or eatting place beforehand, and the hallways would go off in 4 opposite directions with their own rooms. Each floor would have a staircase that would down and up, also a elevator. I could feel the vibrations coming from, what ever it was, below. So I started walking into the abyss.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

It was obvious the floors was divided into sections, each for a different class of people. Kinda reminded me that every intelligent society is genreally the same in most regards as long as that species desires to survive.

The deeper I went, the hotter it got. It almost got unbearble until what seemed like the 70th floor.(Just guessing here) This floor seemed to have one hallway go in one direction. I walked for what felt like 5 minutes in this dreadful heat at the bottum of this bloody awful castle. I had to take off my sweatshirt and throw it over my shoulder just to live in this heat. I was also thinking back to the fact that I wasn't getting thirsty or my throat getting dry like WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON.

I turned my music up lowder to help keep out any desire to hyperventalate. Lets go, by Icana Pop got me pumped up. I would listen to it when I run around the neighborhood. It gave me hop and determination to keep moving forward.

After a few more minutes of walking through this awful hallway with my flashlight goggles on, I saw two doors ahead. One with this giant ass glow of bright neon  blue and another one that had more darkness.

Then another vibrartion hit me, it went through up my body calling me like a shock and I could feel it very close. It was in the darkened room. I started to take my first steps into the room when I heard ...... humming, yes it was humming coming directly from the blue room. I took a step back from the dark room and went in there. In it were what my closest assumption were two tesla coil spikes coming to a singular point where a metal ball with neon blue lines coming from it.

As soon i walked into the room. I heard the word hello and the blue light extinquished into nothingness.

and blue light went out.
