'I killed someone.'
That was my first thought as I looked down at my bloodied hands.
'No'
I immediately pushed such thoughts from my mind.
'In today's world, killing means surviving.'
I turned around and saw everyone; it appeared that their fight had come to a halt at some point because they all gazed at me with varied expressions, including the man fighting against Ailmon, who was the only one among them who didn't appear to be affected by the sun.
My parents and Kate were staring at me in bewilderment, while High Elves seemed to be looking at me with worshipful eyes.
I shifted my gaze towards the Vampires, they all seems hesitant to move and only staring daggers at my direction,
After a short time, the Vampires exchanged quick glances and turned their heads towards a certain someone; it was their leader.
Just then, Ailmon spoke to the leader of the Vampires.
"Louis, why don't stop this and just die."
'Louis'
I made a mental note of that name as I locked my gaze on him with a cold stare.
The man also stared at me with a solemn gape.
"Is this youngster, who appears to be barely an adult, the one you're now serving?"
"How dare you-"
Ailmon couldn't finish his response, as Louis quickly shot forward towards me, bat like wings sprouted in his back as his speed increased.
The other High Elves were taken aback as well.
Vampires rushed towards me in a frenzy.
I could feel my body boiling as I saw all the Vampires racing towards me like a tidal wave.
Unconsciously, a large smile came on my face.
My emotions began to take control of my body.
I could see Louis frowning even more as he recognized the changes in me, but he continued to race towards me at breakneck speed, and I didn't care.
As the gap between us grew less.
I lock my focus on him and open my mouth to speak.
[Stop.]
Just then, a voice as deep as the ocean and as loud as thunder rang from my mouth.
Everything in my immediate vicinity came to a halt.
When I turned to look in the area where my parents and Kate were, I noticed that they were straining to breathe because the air had stopped as well.
I utilized my dragon tongue, which was one of the most recent skills I had learnt.
I don't know much about this skill; all I know is that anything I say when utilizing it will happen in a very short period of time.
But I didn't expect it to reach to the point where even the air itself has come to a halt.
'I suppose this is one of the reasons they can fight gods.'

He is a Vampire with royal blood, Louis Acheron.
Due to their ability to expose themselves to the sun, royal blood vampires were also known as daytime vampires.
He lived for over 400 years, he even saw how the humans destroyed their old world.
He despised them so much that even their blood, which he adored, sickened him.
And he became much more enraged when he saw Ailmon and the other High Elves guarding three humans.
He even considered that killing them wouldn't be enough.
Then another human, a powerful human, emerged.
Ailmon even looks at him with admiration.
He was aware that Ailmon was serving this human at the moment.
That's why he quickly shot forward his body.
'This human, he's dangerous.'
That's what he thought, but he was mistaken.
As he dashed towards the person he saw it.
Those reptilian like eyes.
Then, with a single word, his body froze in mid-air.
'This power....a Dragon!'
It was then Louis understood everything, why Ailmon was serving this person.
At that time, Louis' eyes flashed a terrified look, as if he was about to cry.
***
I took a quick glance at Louis who had stopped in mid-air.
I then cast ice spears to pierce each Vampire's chest.
As the dragon tongue's duration was drawing to a close.
Everything returned to its previous state.
Through the ashes and smoke, vampires began to disperse.
While Louis hurriedly drew the ice spear, his chest was already bleeding so profusely that it would be strange if he survived another minute without acting.
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
He hurriedly switched his focus to the surroundings before coming to a halt in front of my family.
I knew what he was going to do right away, so I cast an ice scythe behind him.
Spush!
With a sound, Louis head ripped off its body and fall to the ground.
After that I landed on ground in front of my parents.
"Are you all okay?"
I asked in a concerned tone.
"Ah-yes were fine son."
My father appears to have not yet come to his senses, as his response was a little late.
"Mother, are you okay?"
"Yes, and thank you."
My mother replied, smiling as if nothing had happened.
"What was that!? You were so cool."
I turned my focus to a girl with dazzling eyes who was staring at me.
"That was my power."
I proudly announced as I puffed my chest up.
"My Lord what shall we do next?"
A startling voice came from behind me, and when I turned around, it was Ailmon bowing graciously to me.
I stared at him for a long time, then diverted my eyes to my family before returning my gaze to him.
"We should find a new home first."
I said with a smile.
***
It had been a few weeks since the beginning of everything that had led up to this point.
The majority of humanity on the planet now knew the truth about what was truly going on.
Since there is no longer any governance, humanity has begun to kill one another without hesitation.
Because guns no longer work, cops and troops were unable to keep things under control.
Some people began to accept the disaster, while others turned it into a blessing.
Somewhere in the city...
"Please give it to me.
No, I'll buy that; how much are you going to charge for that food?"
"Old dude, get out of here.
Throw your money away; it has no worth in these times."
Just then, a soft breeze passed by the two individuals who were conversing despite the fact that they were in a subway station.
The man examined the bag containing the food he was carrying, only to discover that it was empty.
"What the f*ck is going on? My food isn't here!"
"What a pity; it appears like we're both the same now, don't we?"
The old man, who had just pled for the man, was now smirking mischievously at the man, who was shocked.
The old man quickly exited the area and made his way to a dark lane where no lights could be seen.
There, he noticed a young youngster clutching various types of food that had previously been the man's property.
"You worked hard today, kid; if you work even harder tomorrow, I'll allow you to see your mother."
The boy, who was covered in bruised, then gave the old man the food in his hand.
The old man then grabbed the food and walked past the kid without saying anything.
As he was now alone in the dark place, a tear streamed down the kid's cheek.
Everything began when they were evacuated here at the subway station, which he despised.
During those times, his mother, who was his only family, did everything she could to feed him.
She didn't even eat or drink anything so that the food I ate would be adequate.
I hate it, I hate it that she has come to the point where she is even willing to sell herself to that old man.
Back to the beginning, when the intense earthquake stopped, the first thing he noticed was the changes in his appearance, a pointed nose and golden hair.
'Elf'
The other thing he noticed is that a weird text in front of him.
[Name: Kazuya Takash
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Race: High Elf]
Since his mother introduced him to fantasy stories, the boy had been a fan.
As a result, he gained an immediate understanding of what is going on in the world.
'Some of us changed species.'
They then all fled to the subway station.
He noticed it there, he noticed that other people's features had been altered as well.
Others resembled him, while others were not.
Then one day he saw it; a person had transformed into a wind.
No, she's more like gliding through the air.
She had a similar appearance to mine, as far as I could determine.
'She's also a High Elf like me.'
She then began to inform us about current events throughout the world.
Some individuals were taken aback, while others couldn't believe what the girl was saying and expressed their doubts.
What he said astounded me, too.
The girl, on the other hand, didn't say anything else and simply turned around and walked away silently.
At the time, he vividly recalls the girl riding the wind.
The wind began to envelop the boy's body at that point.
Suddenly;
[Using Skill: Shunpo]
In front of his eyes, a text appeared.
Then, like a gust of wind, his body rocketed forward.
The unexpected turn of events caught him off guard, and he rapidly repeated the action.
To get acclimated to it, he used it several times.
He even used it to take other people's food in order to give it to the old man who was holding his mother as a prisoner in order to force me to do it.
And now he's done it for the fifth time.
He despised himself for not doing anything to help his mother and instead simply obeying the old man's demands.
He wanted to die, but when he thought of his mother he just, can't.
Suddenly, a golden halo appeared in the boy's side,
This was a teleportation portal he'd heard about in stories, he knew it.
The boy then prepared his skill to use it as soon as something awful emerged from the portal.
"When Aleesia arrived here, he informed me that there was a High Elf presence in this location.
Is that you?"
A voice drew my attention when a man dressed in opulent attire emerged from the portal and stared at me.
"Who are you?"
As I questioned the man, I glanced at him with a watchful eye.
"I am Ailmon Vanan, leader of the High Elves."
His words cause my eyes to widen.
"Why are you here?"
I asked in a cautious gaze.
"I've come to get you."
"Huh...?"
I completely lost my train of thought as I stared at the man with my mouth open.
"Isn't it reasonable that we should apprehend you rather than allowing you to wander aimlessly? You might embarrass us High Elves if we do."
"Then if I come with you, can I bring someone?"
Because I didn't sense any malice from him, I asked the individual while lowering my guard.
"Who?"
"My mother, I want to bring my mother."
I respond, hoping that he will agree.
"Then where is she?"
The person's response made my eyes light up.
"Um...she is currently in someone's hand."
I replied hesitantly.
The man turned his head to one side, as if he couldn't understand what I was saying.
"I mean, she's locked up.
And, if it's all right with you, could you help save my mom?"
He closes his eyes for a second and appears to be thinking about it.
"Where?"
As soon as I heard his response, tears began to streamed down my cheeks.
"Thank you, thank you so much."
"Why don't you just stop sobbing and tell me where she is so we can get out of here right away, but first, what's your name?"
"Ah-I'm Kazuya Takashi..."
I immediately informed the man of everything that had happened, as well as the whereabouts of my mother.
We go through a dimly lit area as I direct the man to my mother's whereabouts.
At the end of the dark corridor, we came in front of a house that had not been entirely damaged and was still habitable
The man asked me a question as he shifted his focus to me.
"Is this the place?"
"Yes, and my Mom was locked up inside a room, and about the key-"
"Yeah I get it."
"Ah-yes sir."
I replied in a hesitant voice.
"I can only sense two presence inside, I'm sure one of them is your mother."
He vanished into thin air after uttering those words.
I was momentarily surprised as how he used his powers.
***
I looked about the house and found it to be 'filthy.'
Various types of rubbish were strewn throughout the area where I could see them.
I immediately begin looking for the child's mother.
As I moved deeper into the house, an elderly man appeared in front of my eyes.
"You, who are you?"
I locked my gaze on the old man for a long time, and he returned my stare with a cautious expression.
"Definitely filthy."
I grumbled as a ball of white light formed on the tip of my pointing finger.
"Are you sent by that kid to rescue his mother? Well no, you can't."
With a mocking look on his face, he took up a knife from behind him.
Without making a sound, I released the ball of light from my finger tip and it flew ahead towards the man's forehead.
The man collapsed to the ground with a 'BANG' sound, not realizing he had died.
I quickly made my way to the only room in the house with a human presence.
***
I was nervously walking back and forth while waiting for my Mom and Sir Ailmon when the door suddenly opened and I saw my Mom walking with Sir Ailmon.
"Mom!" I called out and ran towards her.
"Son."
With that they hugged each other for a few minutes.
"Are you okay, did you eat well?"
My mother asked as he examined me.
"Are you really asking me that kind of question when it should be ask to you?"
"Mom, I'm sorry I can't save you from that person, I'm really sorry."
I started sobbing while hugging my Mom tightly afraid of leaving her alone again.
"No it's okay, it's okay."
My Mom also started crying as she replied.
When suddenly a voice came from the side.
"Tsk, I still have other things to do, you two should do that after we leave."
We turned are gaze and saw a man looking as us as if he's not interested in anything.
"Son who is he?" My Mom cautiously asked.
"I tell you everything later, we should leave this place first."
I gave nodding smile to the man standing beside us, and witha snapped of his fingers a teleportation gate materialize in front of us.
My Mom was also surprised as she gape with a shock expression.
After we passed through the gate, the view in front of me astounded me.
There were flowers everywhere, as well as tall, magnificent trees.
It was almost as if I was in a fantasy world.
"This-"
I couldn't helped to stare at it blankly.
After I regained control of my thoughts, we were led to a lovely village that I had previously only seen in novels.
After I told Mom everything, she began to thank Sir Ailmon.
When all of a sudden, a lovely High Elf girl opened the door to our room.
"Leader Ailmon, the Lord has woken up."
Sir Ailmon's gaze was drawn to me as she said this.
"Come with me, you should pay respect to the Lord."
I was perplexed by his statement, but I decided to obey because I didn't see anything wrong with it.
'Perhaps Lord was an elder here.'
As I considered this, we began to walk towards the deeper part of the garden, which I chose to call a garden since it's like one.
We arrived in front of a large cave after about a minute of walking.
It was so big that I'd look like an ant in front of the door.
As we entered, I saw a mountain of gold, which was enormous, but what surprised me was that;
"My Lord, we've returned, and I've brought a new High Elf with me."
Sir Ailmon was now kneeling in front of me, bowing his head.
He bowed his head in the direction of the gold mountain.
He then gave me a glare that seemed to tell me to do the same, and I did.
The cave suddenly began to rumble, and the mountain of gold began to move.
I was astounded that the gold could move, and then I heard a voice that seemed to vibrate through my soul.
"Ho"
The gold mountain then shifted.
No, it wasn't a mountain, it was a monster, and no, it isn't either; it's too majestic to be called a monster, but I know what it's called.
"Dragon."
