The world once had three great rulers.
There are the [Magicians], the [Wizards], and the [Witches].
Magicians use magic. They program mana inside of their bodies to perform a desired output, and the result is called "Magic." Magic is a one-time use, and the magician has to program each magic they want to cast.
Wizards use spells. They craft complicated spell formulas and write them down into books or objects imbued with mana. Once the spell formula is activated, the result is called a "Spell." Spells can be used again and again as long as there is mana and the spell formula isn't destroyed.
Witches use curses and potions. They imbue mana into their words and dolls, giving curses to whoever they desire. Curses can travel at the speed of sound, and the only way to block them is to not hear them. The stronger the witch, the harder it is to block their curses. Aside from their curses, witches are also adept at potion brewing.
Once, there was a witch to crafted a potion so powerful that it opened a space portal to another dimension. That potion was named "Dimension Potion," but it had long been lost to time.
The witch can decide how a potion is used by changing how they brew it. It can either be used by breaking the potion, drinking it, or splashing it on someone.
Compared to the other two, magicians may seem lacking. They only had magic, which takes time to complete. Wizards can easily suppress them with their instant casting. Witches are also advantageous against them. They only have to talk and the magician would be driven insane.
However, despite their circumstances, magicians have one thing over the other two professions. They had freedom, and a limitless amount at that.
Unlike the wizards who have to focus on a few spells and perfect them or the witches who can only chant curses and brew potions, magicians can do anything with magic. They can memorize countless magic formulas, and their imagination is their limit. Their slow casting speed can also be faster as they grew more powerful.
Despite being of the same race, magicians, wizards, and witches were mortal enemies. The dominant force was the witches and their curses. Then, the war progressed and due to the sacrificial nature of witchcraft, it lost to the wizard's spell casting.
The wizards looked as if they would win the war when the magicians revealed their nasty surprise. They allied with the witches, quickly killing off every wizard and the art of spell casting... But how could magicians forget their once mortal enemy? The shrewd magicians ignored the alliance and killed the remaining witches.
. . .
At last, the war was over. The results were devastating and more than half the world was plunged into poverty and turmoil. Nevertheless, the victorious magicians were satisfied with their conquest and took over the world.
And then out of nowhere, foreign forces invaded Foirleshan bringing along with them… another war.
They called themselves gods and deities.
Gods are mighty beings that commanded nature and used laws to intervene with the world.
Deities are beings that feed on faith and give blessings to their believers while giving power to their apostle avatars for combat.
Gods and deities are mortal enemies, and to spite the mighty gods, the deities allied with humans to combat the gods.
The gods were displeased and wanted to kill the human race but with the deities' help, it was easier said than done.

The war between the magicians, gods, and deities lasted for decades before reaching a climax.
The balance of power between the three forces was at a tipping point, and one push was all it took to change the tides.
That push came… in favor of the gods.
"The deities betrayed the human race!"
That phrase gave a shock to every human who heard it. Without the deities, how could the magicians fight against the gods?
Still, humans were a prideful race that wouldn’t accept defeat easily.
They fought for centuries, inventing various forbidden magic to defeat the gods… but their days of hardship were just starting.
Just when things seemed to be evening out, another horrible foe appeared out of nowhere.
She was called the "Space Devourer," and she was the enemy of all life including gods.
Humans never expected that the gods they’d been fighting for centuries would be defeated in one fell swoop by the space devourer. When the dark clouds loomed over the world with the Space Devouring watching from above, humanity seemed to have lost hope.
That is until the heroes showed up and announced their desire to banish the Space Devourer!
"To fight until the very end," that's what they said.
They traveled far and wide to hunt down the Space Devourer and when they found her, the final battle ensued.
. . .
Thunders roared, lightning flashed, and dark clouds stretched as far as the naked eye could see. On this day of calamity, a group of magicians faced off against the space devourer.
The space devourer looked like a human girl. She had red eyes and platinum hair, and her skin was as white as snow. She didn't wield a weapon, as her weapon was her words.
"Fall," she said, and the clouds would fall. "Rise," she muttered, and mountains would be uprooted.
Against such an omnipotent foe, the heroes felt grateful for their foresight. They had an ace up their sleeves.
They carried with them the last witch potion and the last wizard spell. The wizard spell, engraved in a pen, was capable of temporarily halting time, while the potion could overwrite space and temporarily create a new dimension.
The dimension was unlivable, but it's what the heroes needed.
The space devourer was enraged, and she killed heroes one by one using a single word for each of them. The heroes dropped like flies when the space devourer had a lapse in focus.
The heroes didn't waste the opportunity and used the pen, stopping time as they prepared to break the potion. As soon as time resumes, the potion will be broken and the space devourer banished.
The heroes were victorious, but great power come at a cost. To use the potion and the pen, the heroes drained their blood and mana. They died before the space devourer. That’s why, they never knew that before the Space Devourer was banished, she left a calamity for humans to face.
Humans called it, the “Queen.”
. . .
The Queen was a titanic queen ant with the body of red jades. Her thorax was filled with spikes that pierced the clouds, and her body was bigger than the mountains. Furthermore, she could birth millions of special insects at once.
Those insects were called “Magic Beasts,” and they all possessed mana, thereby allowing them to use magic.
Humans were tired of facing one calamity after another, and now that they were facing yet another tribulation, the only thing more expensive than another life was a day of peace.
Humans combatted the Queen for decades. They murdered countless magic beasts and tried to kill the Queen multiple times, but the result was depressing. Until one day, a magician reinvented witchcraft.
He concocted a deadly potion that could supposedly kill a god but before he could see it in action, that magician was murdered by an unknown person.
It was just another magician, what's there to be mournful off? Somewhat regretful yet expectant, the magicians hurried to give the potion to the Queen.
But the task won’t be easy.
For one final time, heroes from far and wide gathered to set off on a journey. They trained themselves and gathered whatever useful material they could find, hoping to receive the same fortune as the previous heroes.
When they reached the Queen, the battle they faced was brutal. Only one hero survived until the end but thankfully, the potion was successfully thrown to the Queen.
The magician wasn’t lying when he said the potion could kill gods.
When the hero threw the potion at the Queen, it took less than one second for her to keel over and die.
At the Queen’s death, humans rejoiced. Having survived the tribulation, they cried and awaited the hero’s return, but he didn’t come.
Instead, a mysterious blessing in the form of the “Status Window” was bestowed upon all humans.
The status window helped humans monitor and speed up their growth. It also allowed magicians to cast magic instantly for the very first time.
Today, magicians reign over the world.
They were preparing to face another tribulation, even if they wished for none more to come.
But with the help of the status window, the next tribulation should be easier to conquer, right?
