Chapter #12: [SPECTATOR]

Chapter #12: [SPECTATOR]

• Chapter #12: [SPECTATOR]

“Like hell I’d do that!”, Hiro yelled, gritting his teeth in anger and frustration.

Gripping the sword tightly, it’s crimson and black aura started to flow into Hiro's body due to his rage, influencing the boy's power with it’s Abyss Attribute. Hiro's pupils also changed to crimson, with jet black.

Then, I saw Misa release one of her summons. Hmm… Judging by it’s appearance, it’s the White Tiger, 1 of the 4 Heavenly Beasts. It’s a relatively powerful summon which possesses a High Attribute over Ice.

Meanwhile, the others prepared their battle stances and went into position without any command. Some pretty good teamwork there.

I continued to watch the scene below, still relaxing on my makeshift shadow room.

“You still wish to continue this farce?”, The masked man asked in boredom.

“Don’t underestimate us! We aren’t going down that easily!”, Hiro cried, glaring at the Rabbit. They didn’t need to defeat him, that is nigh impossible, they only have to hold him back until the other Union Members arrive.

“Very well…”, The man said as he raised his palm, in which a silver magic circle had appeared.

[Lunar Gale]

A gust of silvery wind swept through the building. To the others though, it was like a tornado.

“Ughhh…!”

Maki tried to withstand the attack, but was blown away in just a few seconds. Their difference was like the heavens and earth! Most of them were on Lord Ranking, while Hiro was mid Emperor Rank, just below Conqueror and Dominator Rank. It was still futile though, as the Rabbit blew them away in just a few seconds.

“Just hold on…!”, Hiro gritted out, as he himself struggled to keep on holding his sword, which he stabbed on the ground to anchor himself.

Even with that, I can see that the others were barely holding on. Some were already even blown away and knocked out.

“We’ll definitely win…”, Hiro said. Both me and the Rabbit looked at him in amusement. They definitely wouldn’t win, the guy didn’t even use 5% of his power on that attack.

Plus, this is reality. Friendship's not gonna work here.

The spell finally ended, with Hiro the only left in their group and the others unconscious. He definitely is on his limits though, as he shakily stood up, using the sword as a support.

“W-Why do you want the sword? Y-You cannot wield it and you’re already powerful enough to overpower us”, Hiro asks, as he desperately tried to stand up properly.

In response, a violet magic circle just appeared at the man's hands. Hiro's eyes widened, as he recognized the spell. However, he can’t really do anything.

[Graviton]

Sorry Hiro, looks like he’s not in the mood for some chitchat. With a loud thud and crack, Hiro fell down, letting the sword go. It was the same spell that the old man had used to bind the clones. However, it was much stronger to the point that it’s area of effect had cratered the ground. Also, Hiro's bleeding was even intensified and he can’t talk at all.

Opening the Bored Beings Chat Group, I clicked the Livestream options. Which was already bombarded with messages.

[Plotter: oh! A livestream?]

[WarisLife: That's my tyrant sword?!]

[HolyMaiden: Dear~ what's all this Livestream.]

I smiled, this fight will never gonna be interesting without a bet.

[Enigma: Let's start the betting game. Who will win, The rabbit or the kazuto?]

[Plotter: Kazuto]

[WarisLife: Ho...I want to bet 5 of my sword to rabbit]

This guy just randomly bet his swords? Do you even see Hiro and the people gave importance to one of your sword?

Mostly of them was split in half even the situation is favored for the rabbit which obviously will win here. Even the plotter voted for Kazuto. The betting prize was already decided, They already placed their own 'stuff' as for me I already placed 1000 gigabytes of Entertainment videos and data. Which as a normal would bet, although I've already scheme ahead of others.

[Enigma: I'll vote for Kazuto]

[Plotter: Oh, kukukukuku]

[Enigma; you realize huh?]

The Plotter also realized what is on my mind, A scheme.

“Still not going to surrender?”, The Rabbit asked.

Haaa… This is stupid.

Even though I enjoyed seeing them being beaten up for a bit, Hiro really just looked like a ragdoll being thrown around violently. It was time to unleashed the scheme to win the bet, Ahh right… I know what to do.

[Miracle Invoker: Active]

An ability that granted random miracles and blessings to it’s targets.

[Target Kazuto Hiro has been granted strength and indomitable will to protect his loved ones.]

Bleach…?

[Plotter: I win, where's the bet prize.]

[WarisLife: this is cheating!]

[Enigma: Yohoo, where is the bet prize.]

[Underworldsucks: Glad I pick the Kazuto]

[HolyMaiden: Where is the bet prize ~]

[PeaceLife: this is a scheme]

[BarrierBlock: Noooo! I lost!!!]

[OldFriendDarkness: To despair in the unfairness of the world.]

Those who won the bet had the rights to grab the bet prize from others. I smiled wickedly and observe Hiro face again.

“I will… never surrender…!”, Hiro gritted out, his bloodshot eyes glaring at the man with resolute determination. Suddenly, the miracle that I had activated finally appeared, by coating his body in golden aura.

The Rabbit also realized something odd, and became more serious.

“Power of Friendship.”, I blankly said, but inwardly laughing. I feel like this is some shōnen anime and I’m the writer. I have zero plans of intervening though.

Emptying the bag of chips on my mouth, I saw Hiro charging towards the Rabbit. I had noticed that Hiro's focus was not on the guy though, but to his grandfather.

Slashing, the Rabbit backed away for a bit, only to be quickly followed up by another attack, making him jump away. Taking advantage, Hiro pulls out the sword stuck on his grandfather and breaks it.

His grandfather's aura leaked out from the sword's pieces, going back to him. The aura slowly regenerated the damage that the old man took. Seeing this, the Rabbit lets out a sigh of annoyance before dashing towards the jeezer.

He was interrupted by the sudden attack of Hiro, who intended to hold him back while his grandfather recovered. The two briefly clashed, before the masked man found an opening. Lifting his palm, a silver magic circle appeared once more.

[Moon Blast]

“Too late…”, I muttered, drinking down the remains of my soda. The old man got up just in time, dodging the incoming attack. Without wasting his time, the jeezer quickly attacked the man.

Sword strikes flew at each other. Dominator Rank wasn’t for nothing, as they’re able to hold down Supreme Rank individuals.

[Ignition]

The old man’s blade and body suddenly went ablaze, making the Rabbit narrow his eyes. He summoned his magic once more.

[Lunar Vortex]

A literal tornado swept through the area, dragging away the exhausted Hiro, his barely conscious group, and the other members flying. The old man in response, just intensified his flames even more.

Wind and Fire clashed against each other, heating up the room. I could even feel it from here, making me sigh in annoyance.

As the Rabbit's attack stopped, he stood far away from the old man and turned outside.

“Tch, how annoying”, He muttered, before a silver light enveloped him. As it faded, it revealed that he had transformed into a white rabbit with ruby eyes.

Hmmm… So his transformation abilities doesn’t have any limits. Really convenient.

He then jumped up on one of the windows, still not letting the barrier down. As soon as he wasn’t in sight though, the barrier slowly vanished. No one on the outside had even noticed him escaping.

And like cops in movies, the Union had finally arrived. They scrambled back and forth, healing the injured and asking questions to the ones who were conscious.

Haaa… What a night…
