"They waited in the house for about two hours. After two hours, a guy knocked on the door. Jebi opened it.

A delivery man stood at the door.

The delivery man said, 'Are you Mister Broths Bren? There is a parcel for Mister Broths Bren!'

Jebi replied, 'Yeah, I am Broths. So, give me that!'

The delivery man said, 'Sir, it's prepaid. You don't have to pay.'

Jebi responded, 'Okay, just wait a bit.'"

Jebi thought, "Is there a bomb set on the parcel? No, it's so light. It can't be a bomb."

Jebi said to Jace, "Jace, it's your turn. And about the gift, I'll give it to you guys later."

Jace told the guy, "Sir, we're from the FBI. We need you to follow us, but act like nothing happened. Our car is in the back, a white van. Wait at a safe distance. When we overtake you, then you can follow us. Is that okay, sir?"

The delivery man replied, "That's fine, sir!"

(Jace): "Hey! What's in the parcel?"

(Jebi): "Probably a letter. Wait, let me open it."

Jebi opened the parcel. "Yes, it is a letter."

(Jace): "Hey, read what the letter says."

(Jebi): "It says, 'You can't catch me. These games are pointless.' This killer seems to be a little smart. They realized that Broths Bren is a trap. Even though they realized it, we have an advantage. Since they sent the letter, it means the killer is someone close to Sabrina. We just need to ask Sabrina who she told about Broths Bren. That's it, they are the suspects."

(Jace): "So, what are we gonna do?"

(Jebi): "I just changed my mind. Stop the car."

(Jace): "Why?"

(Jebi): "Just stop."

Jace stopped the car.

Jebi signaled to the delivery man.

The delivery man stopped. Jebi said to him, "Who told you to deliver it?"

The delivery man replied, "A girl. I met her on the highway. She asked me where I was going to deliver. I replied that I was going to Daylight Road. Then she gave me some extra money and said, 'Deliver this box to house number 485.' And that's it."

(Jebi): "Come to the California FBI office tomorrow, understand?"

The delivery man replied, "Yes."

(Jebi): "Now go!"

Jebi turned his face towards Jace and said, "We have to go to Sabrina's house once again."

After 45 minutes:

Jebi and Jace stood in front of Sabrina's flat door.

Jebi knocked on the door.

Sabrina opened the door and said, "Oh my, it's you again."

Sabrina was fully made up, looking like she had just come home.

(Jebi): "I have to confess something."

(Sabrina): "Yeah, come inside."

Jebi and Jace both entered the house.

Sabrina offered them seats.

(Sabrina): "What is it that you have to confess?"

Jebi explained everything about his strategy and how he tricked her.

After explaining, Jebi said, "I'm sorry. But the good news is, because of this, we can catch the killer now. You just have to tell us who are the people you told about Broths Bren."

(Sabrina): "Just some of my friends."

(Jebi): "Jace, write down her friends' names. And Sabrina, do you have coffee? My head hurts. You don't have to make it; I can make it."

Jebi thought to himself, "The case is almost solved. Now I just have to prove who the killer is."

Jebi came out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee.

(Jace): "She told her six friends about Broths Bren. All of them are her university friends."

(Jebi): "So, Sabrina, I have a question for you. Did you tell your friends about the location of Broths Bren, or did someone ask you?"

(Sabrina): "One of my friends named Astha asked me that."

Jace said to Jebi, "That means Astha is the killer."

(Jebi): "We can't say that; she could be the killer's helper too. Either way, she is our prime suspect now."

(Sabrina): "Hey, she's one of my good friends. I don't think she could kill someone."

(Jebi): "We don't know that yet. But what we do know is the killer will be caught soon. Sabrina, today at 7 p.m., come to the California FBI office. Your friends will be there too."

(Sabrina): "Yeah, no worries, I'll come."

(Jebi): "Sabrina, can you trick her into coming to the FBI office, okay?"

(Sabrina): "Why would I do that? And how am I going to trick her anyway?"

(Jebi): "Come on. You'll tell her that you guys are going on a double date. And you will drive the car into FBI office ."

Jebi and Jace left her house.

At 7 p.m.:

Everyone was present in the room. Emu and Jace were also there.

(Emu): "Where is that idiot?"

(Jace): "I don't know. Jebi might be wandering around."

Suddenly, Jebi entered the room.

(Jebi): "Are you guys missing me? Don't miss me too much; I'm here!"

(Emu): "Where the hell have you been? We can't just waste their time!"

(Jebi): "Ah, don't worry about that. Now that I'm here, we can get started. Don't worry; I will catch the killer without a doubt."

(Jace): "Shall we start the investigation?"

(Jebi): "Yeah, let's go."

Jebi said to them, "Let me get straight to the point because after finishing with you guys, I need sleep. So, who killed Sabrina's ex?"

One of the seven friends spoke up, "Do you think someone would admit to killing him?"

(Jebi): "You there. What's your name?"

The person replied, "Stevenson."

(Jebi): "So, Stevenson, shut up and let me do my work."

(Stevenson): "Why are you talking like that? It's rude!"

(Jebi): "Listen, this is a murder investigation. I can act however I want. Don't you understand that? Are you a kid in a grown-ass male body? Or a grown-ass male who acts like a kid?"

Stevenson couldn’t find words to counter Jebi's words.

Jebi said, "Now let's start. First, Sabrina, are you sure that these are the people you told about Broths Bren?"

Sabrina answered, "Yes, they are the people I told about Broths Bren."

Jebi explained his Broths Bren strategy to everyone. Now, everyone seemed a bit worried about themselves. This was a situation where people started to show their true nature. Friendship? Love? Crush? These emotions started to fade away little by little. Jebi understood this very well. That's why he created a situation like this.

Jebi thought to himself, "That's it. This is the right environment to deceive the culprit."

Jebi said to them, "So everyone here, you already realize that the killer is among you. What do you think? Who is the killer? Do any of you have an alibi?"

A guy named Ronero said to Jebi, "I have an alibi. Not just an alibi, you can say I have proof. My home's security camera. I was at home after the hangout ended. It's all on my home's security camera."

(Jebi): "Ah, I don’t think any of you will admit who the killer is! I should give you some information. If you don't tell us who the killer is, or if the killer doesn't admit who they are, each one of you will be in great trouble, believe me!"

Everyone understood their situation.

Suddenly, a girl named Zerina spoke up.

(Zerina): "I know who the killer is!"

(Jebi): "Uh huh. And who is it?"

(Zerina): "It's Astha."

Nobody was shocked, actually, because everybody knew why Zerina said the killer was Astha.

Jace and Emu thought to themselves, "I knew this would come to this. But how is he able to prove that Astha is the killer?"

(Jebi): "And why do you think that Astha is the killer?"

(Sabrina): "Zerina, don't... She just asked that casually. Don't do this to her. She is our friend!"

(Astha): "Yeah."

(Zerina): "Let me explain, officer."

(Jebi): "Yeah, tell us."

(Zerina): "It's actually when Sabrina told us about Broths Bren. No one asked where he lives except Astha. Why did she ask that? Only the killer would ask something like that!"

(Jebi): "You have got a point. Care to comment about this, Miss Astha?"

(Astha): "There is a reason behind it. Actually, today before I left my house, I checked my mailbox which is outside of my home. I found a letter. In that letter, there was a lot of personal information about me. The letter was sent by a man named Broths Bren. There was an address for that man: Daylight Road, House Number 485. That day, Sabrina told us about someone named Broths Bren. So, I just wanted to know if they were the same person. That's it."

(Jebi): "If that's the case, can you show us the paper?"

(Astha): "Yes, I can. It's in my home."

(Emu): "Okay, madam. Just tell us the exact location; we will bring it here."

(Astha): "It's in my living room, in the bookshelf drawer number 2. You'll find it there."

(Jebi): "Miss, will you write down the location on this paper?"

Jebi gives her the paper.

She writes down her address, which is 7 Star Road, House Number 12.

Jebi tells Jace to go to that place.

After Jace leaves, Jebi said, "Well, it's already kind of proven that you are the killer. Because your handwriting matches exactly the same handwriting which we found in that parcel. This suggests that you are the one who wrote that letter. And this makes you the killer automatically."

Astha didn’t reply to Jebi because she had nothing to say except wait.

Astha realized something. She realized that the people whom she believed were her friends are her enemies. Because of them, she is now in deep trouble.

Astha felt totally down. Negative thoughts grasped her entirely.

She already built hate towards her friends. A deep hate.

(Jebi): "It's pointless, Astha. You must be thinking that your friends are your enemies and something like that. But it's not true. You aren’t able to see the truth. If we replaced you with Zerina, you would do the same thing as she did. Don't think you are an exception. You would do the same thing, which is save yourself. That's totally your fault that you aren’t able to save yourself."

Emu thought to herself, "He really is a cold person."

After a little while, Jace called Jebi and said he didn’t find any letter. He just found a blank paper.

Jebi said to Astha, "You are under arrest, Miss Astha."

Emu said to everyone, "All of you can go home. Thanks for coming here."

Everyone left the FBI office.

Jebi said to Emu, "Hey, can you just hold Astha for a moment? Also, give me handcuffs. The real killer isn’t her. Just wait here. I will come back with the real killer. Just give me 5 minutes."

Jebi ran outside.

Emu thought to herself, "The real killer? What is he talking about? All the evidence says that Astha is the killer. Is there something we can't see, but he, Jebi Astry, can?"
