Hello everyone, my name is Luna Rose. I'm but a humble traveling hawker. What’s a hawker you may ask? Do you know what it is? Well, not everyone knows what it is so I’ll just tell you. A hawker is someone who travels around selling small, inexpensive items.
Not to be confused with the peddler. Though peddlers also travel around selling small, inexpensive items, peddlers place their items on top of their head while hawkers have a cart. Well, I use a covered wagon to travel around.
I sell many wonderful items such as mushrooms, herbs, cutlery, horns, rags doll, stuff toys, and other toys. The toys I made are of top quality! Not the best in the world but rather it’s above average considering that I’m a mere commoner child and everything is hand-sawn. Wait, does the sewing machine exist here? Maybe it’s something only a rich person can afford.
“Oh, let’s take a break there Will, Mill.”
I lead the horses to a hidden open space near the main road. Once we arrive, I release the horses from the wagon and let them rest. A barrel of water is provided for each horse and there’s an abundance of grass here.
“Rest well my friends~”
I too will rest. The sun is already setting so night monsters will soon lurk around. Night monsters are more dangerous than monsters in the day so an extra measure is needed. That’s why I have tons of monsters repel potions and dust. Spread around the dust around the campsite, and sprinkle some potion around the bed. Of course, the horses got sprinkled by both the dust and the potion. Especially Will. He likes to roam around even though I told him not to. Will gets extra dust.
I eat dinner and then make a little wooden statue. It’s a statue of a family; a loving mother, a hardworking father, and their little daughter. A simple nuclear family. Though the statue isn’t finished yet. You can only see that it’s somewhat human-like. A somewhat buffy stick is figure-like. Remember, it’s not finished yet. I do have the talent and skill to make it.
Yawn… I’m tired. Let’s end this day.
The sun has risen. It’s time for another day! The morning breeze is so refreshing. Do you like it too? Well, most of you may be asleep during the morning and most of the day.
“Right night owls?” I said as I look at a sleeping owl on top of a tree.

“Will, Mill, please stop with that judging look. I’m not crazy yet”
My horses look away as if saying “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
I do some light stretches end to clean up my camping stuff. Make sure the fire is off, cleans up all the trashes, and bury my horse's dunk.
“Accidentally stepping on a horse dunk is not a fun experience,” I said as I clean the horse dunk on my shoe.
When my shoe is all clean and not stinky anymore, I prepare the wagon. Tied Will and Mill into the wagon, and check all of my items. After that, I’m ready to go.
The birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming, makes me wanna burn- I mean play around. I’m really glad I have Will and Mill as my horse. I don’t need to really watch where we’re going. For me who easily distracted, it’s a very reassuring thing. Ah, a pretty little butterfly~
“Hm?”
The butterfly lands on top of a person… or a dead body. Oh, he’s breathing. Good. Digging a grave sounds very troublesome anyway.
I jumped down from the wagon and my horses stop. They notice that I have jumped down. How smart of them. Hehe, my horses are the smartest!
The person that the butterfly landed on was an elf. Even though he has dark skin, he’s not a dark elf. Why? Because that race doesn’t exist in this world. He’s simply an elf with dark skin. His blonde hair looks dusty because of mud and well, dust. His arm and leg are rather skinny.
And, ah, there’s a shiny rock beside him! Got a new rock for my collection~ Oh, wait! Unconcious person! Right! Ehem! Well, would you look at that? He had been bitten by a snake. If you get bitten by a snake, you should be tied up around that part so the poison doesn’t spread. But it’s on his neck. Then I’ll just use magic. Oh, I haven’t told you that this is a world of sword and magic? Well, I have now.
A small magic circle appeared on the elf’s neck; the place where he had been bitten. In less than a second, the mark had gone. And a few seconds later the magic circle disappears too, signing the poison has been completely removed.
Now there are new options I need to choose from. Let him here or bring him to the village with me? Each action will have its own consequences and cannot be undone. Well, everything is like that but, this has something to do with another person's life. The wrong option might lead me to a bad end.
I let out a sigh and drag the elf to my wagon. He's heavy. Very heavy. I have a bit of strength, but an adult is still too much for me. I hope he is not some sort of crazy psychopath. Getting killed by the person I help is not a fun way to die. No, she would like that kind of ending. She just loves to see me suffer, is she? Ah, I should stop saying bad things about her before bad things actually happen!
