Chapter 3- Mystery box and Unstable Agility Orb_LitRPG Zombie Apocalypse

I went over to the two corpses and pulled out two items. One being a box the size of a fist with a question mark on it, with the other an orb which glows like a rainbow.

Mystery Box: A mysterious box that when opened gives a random item.

Unstable Agility Orb: Gives user a great boost in agility but has a 20% chance of removing one of your skills.

It seems that every now and then what drops from zombies changes, good to know. Well I reach out to the Unstable Agility Orb and crush it, I feel extreme pain but can feel my agility increase.

I pick up the Mystery Box and open it. It started flaring and light as bright as the sun blinded me. It lasted only a second and I looked in my hand to see a silvery grey apple with black lines on it.

Tetsu Tetsu No Mi--- Type: Logia Tetsu no Mi is a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows the a person to control, create, and transform into metal at will. (Can only turn into metal you've seen before)

I'm not sure but I think this is something from an anime... weird. I also remember that you can't swim after eating a Devil fruit. Well after the end of the world I don't know what is in the ocean and I don't want to find out.

Without hesitation I eat the apple in a few bites, It tasted like the most discusting thing ever times 10. My body starts to heat up and I feel as the increase in power, it was invigorating.

It seems this god of hard work really awards people for certain feats... Also it seems that levels don't matter 100%, although a level 1 vs level 100 is suicide.

On the radio we hear at the centre of Edmond there is a survivor camp, which has roughly 1000 people with 100 soldiers. The other three want to go there but I don't so they take the Humvee and leave.

I was walking down the road when I heard a screech. I turn my head to see a giant rat (about 1m tall)surrounded by 10 smaller large rats (size of a large cat), all of which were looking at me.

Although everyone of them are higher level than me I'm not afraid at all. My body turns into reinforced steel and I charge at the Elite Rat, before I reach it three smaller rats intercept me. In retaliation I shot steel blades out my body slicing them in two pieces, the other seven also charge at me but I jump back to avoid being surrounded.

After that I immediately charged back into the midst of the seven rats steel blades slicing out, another three get turned into mince meat. The other four slashed with their claws but only 1 inch deep scratches (Even my organs and bones were steel), I almost felt invincible. After another few seconds I had shredded the last four rats.

I turn to face the Elite Mutant Rat with a smile on my face. It howled and slashed at me, which I dodged and countered by punching at it's body. It was hurt but my strength is too low to kill it, It grunted painfully but recovered and used its right claw to slash at my left leg which to my suprise took my leg off.

I was made metal so It didn't hurt but it was annoying, the leg reattached easily. I completely turned into liquid metal and pushed as much metal down it's windpipe as I could, it futilely tried to spit it out but it was unable to do so. After about 5 minutes it stopped struggling, but I still crushed it's head to make sure.

Nothing dropped from the 10 mutant rats but next to the Elite Mutant Rat I found a ring with a skull on it, It had strange runic markings and was black with the skull being white.

Grade 1 Ring: Ring of Bones: Every hour 15 Level 5 skeleton warriors can be summoned for 20 minutes.
