I sat under a tree at a park near the school after the fight. I was still buzzing with adrenaline and loving the feeling. I keep forgetting how great feeling my blood pumping can be. Sure my cheek hurts, my body aches and my shoulder burns. But I got new skills and found out that half a decade of martial arts can be useful in a fight, who knew. I thought with a mental chuckle.

There was a sudden pain in my cheek, bringing me back from my adrenaline high. Rowanne was checking my cheek "it just seems to be bruised and swelling a bit. There's nothing that would need medical attention right now so your fine". She says as I sit there and read over my notifications a little more closely.

My legs seem to do more damage, huh. It makes sense there used more, and you use them when walking everywhere. Does that mean that the strength attributes averaged or that the system adds or subtracts damage to my attacks when using different parts of my body?

Next, I looked at the charm skill adding 'description' under my breath, deciding I should finally start reading the descriptions of some of my skills.

Charisma + skill level, when 10 points higher than your targets Wisdom, there is a higher chance to sway their opinion somewhat.

" I read the description for charm, " I said while I started to wonder over these secret quests. Rowanne decided I should pay more attention to her and Brendon via a poke to my bruised cheek again. " you like to spend time in your head, don't you. " she said with a slightly irritated look but before I could get a word out she continued. " Now you have the Charm skill, so did it say anything different to what mine said. Also what level is it and for that matter whats your Wisdom or your attributes in general. What skills do you have, why do you know how to fight like that. What's your plan for the end of the world. Why did you fight Jonathon in the first place? "

I just stared at her for a minute, not saying a word. I'm not sure what I expected, but the irritated look never went away. Taking a deep breath, I decided to ask her a question that I'm sure she wouldn't like. " why should I answer that or any of those questions for that matter. What really would you get from them other than satisfying your curiosity and learning what precisely I can do. " I shot back. We weren't friends or enemies; we were strangers. There wasn't a good reason for us to work together. She checked on my wounds, but I could have done that. I was a source of information. Possibly to her, a way to understand this fucked up game life was likely going to be.

The voice that sounded from my right wasn't Rowanne or Brendon, but he seemed familiar. " because your new to town and we all have questions that need answers. You also have more answers then I think the three of us do right now. I'm also currently the only person you know with a job that you haven't pissed off and knocked out." turning my head, I saw Hallelujah standing a few feet away. He was smiling.

" so why don't we 'party up' and figure some of this out. I'll even show you how to be a Mage." he was smiling and before I could think of a response, a new 'notification' popped up.
