The next day, Kim visited the local market to sell the loot he had acquired from the goblins he defeated. He carried with him a bag filled with the rusty weapons.
As he approached one of the vendors, an elderly man with a long beard, he displayed his loot and asked if the vendor would be interested in purchasing any of it. The man examined the items closely before nodding and offering Kim a fair price for each of them. Kim got 25 coppers which 5 of them spent on eating in the local tavern "The Rusty Goblet", an information sign pooped out of nowhere.

Kim opened the map and the tavern logo was on it, apperently special areas saved in the map.
just when got into the tavern he realized huge amount of adventurers crowded in a small area.
"what all the fuss about?" kim said to himself.
He finished his meal and went to the crowded area. as he got closer he saw more and more armored adventurers actual players! he got pushed several times but eventually saw what was it all about.
He saw a massive 4 meter long notice board full with missions to do, each mission was different with a recommended level and reward.
Apperently new missions appear every day in 8:00 in the morning which was the exact time Kim entered the tavern. people pushed each other trying to take the best mission, poor and intriged Kim instinctly took a mission without looking from what left on the board.

Mission: Clean the Slime-Infected Area Reccomended level: 5
Attention all adventurers! We have a mission for you. A nearby area has been overrun by slimy creatures, leaving the fields in a state of disarray. The slime is spreading quickly and posing a threat to the health and safety of the citizens and the cattle. We need brave souls to help us clean up the affected area.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to clear the slime-infected area. You will need to work together to eliminate the slimy creatures.
Please note that the slimy creatures are highly corrosive and dangerous, and should be approached with caution. We recommend that you bring protective gear and weapons to defend yourself against their attacks.
Reward: 2 silver coins, 1000 XP
*one silver coin = 100 copper coins

"Wow no wonder those players wanted to grab those missions they are way better than the NPC missions, although the reccomended level is a bit high for me". As Kim tried to think about a solution he felt pats on his back. He turn around and saw 2 players.
The first player was a tall, muscular man named Kyle. He was a Paladin and He wore a simple iron chestplate and wooden shield and carried a heavy bronze mace at his side.
The second player was a small, wiry woman named Zoe. She was a Rogue, a sneaky and cunning thief who used her agility and stealth to get out of tricky situations. She wore dark leather armor and carried a pair of sharp rusty daggers.
"Hi there! My name is Kyle and this is Zoe!" Kyle said eagerly.
"We just saw that you taking a mission of the board and it seems that you don't have a party! can we work together on this one?" kyle said with a smile on his face.
Kim hesitated but agreed due to his low level and didn't know about the consequences of dying in the game. suprisingly enough, it wasn't mentioned in the tutorial or in any place when you think about it.
through the menue he invited the two adventurers and created a party. only when they accepted he saw their levels next to their name. Kyle was level 5 while Zoe level 4.
And so, the three adventurers headed to the infected field to find out maybe three players against dozens slimes in their same level wasn't their brightest idea.
