Going through one of the many doors, we enter a large bedroom. Inside the room, we see a woman holding two babies. Hearing us enter the room, she looks up and a bright smile appears on her face. She had long blond hair and a fair face. Unfortunately, her face looked a little pale almost like she was ill.
“Ashvan!” The woman yelled in surprise.
“To think that my wife would call out another man's name before mine!” Leoric jokes. Hearing her husband’s words, the woman playfully scowls at Leoric.
“Don’t make a face like that Celandra, I was just joking.” Leoric states with a smile.
“I know. How have you been Ashvan?” Celandra says completely ignoring Leoric.
“I’ve been good. Congratulations!” Ashvan responds. “If you don’t mind, can I examine your health?”
“Even if I said no, you would still do it anyways.” Celandra replies with a smile. She stretches out her hand towards Ashvan.
Ashvan takes her hand and starts measuring her pulse. After a few seconds, his happy face slowly turns serious. Seeing his change in expression, Leoric and Celandra’s face turn sullen.
“I have good news and bad news for you, which do you want to hear?” Ashvan sighs.
“Please tell us the bad news!”
“Please tell us the good news!”
Celandra and Leoric yell at the same town.
“The bad news is that your last birth damaged you severely. If you were to have another child, you would die.” Ashvan sighs.
Leroic’s face turns dark before saying, “Then what is the good news?”
“The damage to her will not affect her unless she gives birth again.” Ashvan explains.

“I see. Is there any way to heal her?” Leoric asks.
“There is a way.” Ashvan says honestly. Hearing this, Leoric starts getting excited. His joy was quickly shut down by Ashvan’s next words.
“However, the healing required isn't within my capabilities.”
“You’re the best water magician! How can you not have the skill to heal her?” Leoric yells.
“Calm down.” Celandra tells Leoric. “What makes you unable to heal me?”
“Your main damage can only be restored by using the blood within your body. Since I'm unable to control blood, I can't heal you.” Ashvan says.
It's just that? I think to myself. While in the forest, I was able to train with blood.
“Do you know any trustworthy people who use blood?” Leoric asks seriously. “Though I don’t personally trust people who use blood magic, if they can heal my wife then I’ll use them.”
“Unfortunately, I don’t know any.” Ashvan sighs. “Blood magic is one of the rarest variants of water magic. The only blood mages I’ve heard about are criminals as well.”
Should I tell him? I know Fenrir told me to keep my magic a secret but… I feel like I should help. This might be an attempt to console myself after my mothers death. To help out motherly figures to make up for my inability to help my mother.
I’ll do it.
“Blood.” I say interrupting the silence. Leoric and Celandra look at me confused. Ashvan has a shocked appearance. He seems to have understood my meaning.
Without any hesitation, he takes a nearby piece of glass and shatters it. With a piece of the shattered glass, he cuts his finger and lets blood drip from it. The royal couple are staring shocked at Ashvan’s sudden action.
Everyone watches while the blood drips from his hand. It slowly falls almost reaching the fine carpet. Before it lands on the carpet, it stops in midair. Seeing this, Ashvan nods and quickly heals his injured hand.
“I see so you’re a variant water magician then.” Ashvan says to me. “Thank you for sharing this secret with me. I promise that no one here will reveal this secret.” He turns to look at the royal couple who are being silent.
“Don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone.” Leoric nods. “Can you cure my wife?” Hearing his question, I can only sit in silence. I don’t know if I can or not currently.
“He should be able to soon.” Ashvan answers for me. “We need to see what his current capabilities are with blood magic.” Saying this Ashvan holds out his wrist towards me. “Grab my wrist and try to feel my blood.”
Doing as I’m told, I take my fingers and place them on his wrist. It’s kind of difficult due to how small my hands are, but I’m able to feel a small pulse. After the first pulse was felt, I started feeling all of the blood inside Ashvan’s body. I can feel the outlines of his veins, heart, organs, and bones due to the pulse.
“It looks like you can feel it. Good.” Ashvan nods. “Now do the same thing to Celandra.”
Ashvan holds me near Celandra. She holds out her wrist. It seems her daughters were taken by the King.
Taking her wrist, the same feeling occurs. I see her veins, heart, organs and bones after a few seconds. However, I can feel that her body has some differences in the genital and heart area. In the heart, the flow feels slightly restricted. While in the genital area, the blood feels unrestrained.
“You can probably feel it, but her genital area has a very unrestrained blood flow. This can cause excessive bleeding when she gives birth again. This excessive bleeding will be fatal.” Ashvan explains. “You should be able to control the flow of the blood. If you're able to slow it down then she wouldn't have to worry about giving birth.”
Hearing him, I nod and attempt to slow down the blood flow in her genitals. It takes a few attempted, but I succeed. I see Celandras face contort with pain during my treatment.
Ashvan checks her pulse and nods. “Good she should be fine now.” Hearing these words, Leoric jumps with joy waking up the two girls.
They start crying due to their sudden awakening.
