Two blue rings appeared in his mind, each etched with complicated runic designs. One slip in concentration and the image blurred. Slowly each ring had begun to spin. He took a breath and raised his hand. Magical rings identical the images in his mind manifested at the palm of his right hand. He had given up learning new spells, flipping through the pages of Finac’s spell book in disappointment.
