I am roughly shoved into a chair and tied down. When I look up a blinding light is shown on my face. I hear a cold, raspy, masculine voice say “Do you know why you are here?” I close my eyes to block out the light and say “No.” The raspy voice says “You are here because you are dangerous” I smile and say “I am a fourteen-year-old kid what is dangerous about me?” The voice says “A fourteen-year-old kid that almost brought down a passenger jet with a thought, and almost killed a man” I say “I don’t know what you are talking about, and he was pulling a gun on me.” The voice stops talking and I hear a door opening and closing. I open my eyes a little and see armed guards with guns pointed at me in the corner of my eye. I say “What is with all the security I am not going to hurt you” A guard immediately says “Shut up I can't kill you, but I can hurt you”
After about 30 minutes I hear the door open and I say “Raspy is that you?” A new feminine voice says “No” I say “You sound reasonable, how about you tell me why I am here?” The new voice says “You are here because you are dangerous” I sigh and say “I am fourteen-year-old kid and you used four tanks, two Apaches, an entire company of soldiers to capture me and if I was not mistaken navy seals were the ones that grabbed me. I did not even have a single weapon on me, I have not done anything that would make the government think I am dangerous, hell I was planning on joining the military after going to West Point” The feminine voice says “Maybe you don't have to wait” I face where I think the voice is coming from and I hear guns raising. I say “Ok you don't like that” and put my head back down. I say “What are you talking about” the women says “joining the military” I say “If you had not noticed I am fourteen still four years away from 18 and I feel that this place is a secret you take to the grave” She says “It is a secret you take to the grave so you have two choices join or die” I say “I always was an asshole when people do the carrot or a stick thing so fuck off” She says “We know and that is why everyone you know will die too can't have anyone investigating why you are missing” I almost growl in anger when I hear that and say “I don’t know much about my power, but I can promise you that I can kill everyone in this room and then some” She says “You probably can, but if you accept you and your family will be rich” I say “And targeted by all of America's enemies and mine” She says “We can protect them” I say “From someone like me?” She stays quiet and I say “I know that there are others like me otherwise you would not have found me and you seem desperate too I mean asking a kid to join the military or are you guys really that low” She says “You're smart for a kid” I laugh and say “I just said what I read in a book once” I stop laughing sharply and say in a serious tone “I will accept but no kill chips” She says “You have to have one” I say “No chip or no deal don’t worry about me I hate betrayal”
I hear the door open and close. I say “Hi if this works out I guess we are comrades?” The guards say nothing I say “Ok not the talking type” One of them say “You're kind killed our comrades you will never be one of us” I say “If we become comrades I won't let a single one of you die, however on the other side betray me and I will kill everyone of you” The door opens and I say “Raspy or the side girl” She says “Ok you don’t need a chip” I say “So what should I call you and sorry for the disrespect” She says “What's with the sudden change” I say “You are comrades now. The guards aim at me and I say “Calm down we are comrades now” The women says “Stand down” I finally see who it is and say “A four-star general all for me how nice, and a pretty one too. First things first I could careless for rank so don't give me one and don’t expect respect from me just because you have a shining badge, I will, however, follow your orders. Well that was pretty much it let's go to boot camp” She says “You don't need to go to boot camp, follow me”
We leave the room and enter a hallway. After following her for a couple of minutes I say “You guys aren't going to surprise chip me are you and I never caught your name Raven” she says “It is Seraphina” I say “I respect you a little so I will call you Raven” She says “Please call me Mis.Raven” I say “Earn more respect and where are we going” She looks a little annoyed and says “To your squad they all have powers like you” I say “If you already have a platoon with powers like mine why did you guys go after me like that” She said “That only happened because you tested your powers out on a passenger plane and attacked the driver” I say “He was pulling a gun, of course, I attacked him.” I say “Ok, but you already have a platoon why recruit me?” She says “You will find out when we get there,” I think for a little and say “ooooh god please no” Raven pull up to a door and opens it.

I walk inside just to have my fears made a reality. I say “Have they been deployed?” she says “Yes.” I see a room that looks like it belongs in a penthouse with some teenagers milling around. I say “I take it back about the ranks make mine higher than all of theirs please” The group of teenagers form a platoon in front of Raven and I say “Don't bother standing at attention if you can't-do it right it just makes you look stupid” Their squads are crooked and their spacing is horrible. I ask Raven “Raven who has the highest rank besides you” She says “Aaron King has the highest rank of Sergeant Major” I say “Did I hear you right Raven” She says “Yes” I say “Bring him out” She says “Aaron come here please” I look at her and say “Did I just hear you right did you just say please to a sergeant major” I see a blond captain America wannabe come up. He steps up to us and goes to attention but his feet are not spaced and his hands are clenched in fists I can see that he is really trying so I will go easy on him. I say “Raven can my rank be 6 star general” she says “No you have to earn it” I say “So this sergeant major that does not even know how to stand at attention earned it” I say “Aaron keep your heels together spread your toes apart and unclench your fists but not all the way” He does it right and I say “Now everyone do that” They don't listen I say “Raven let's talk a little outside” We leave the room and I say “Take me to your armory” She says “I can't-do that” I say “Your a fucking four star general don't tell me you can't do something” We take a long walk and finally get to a door with two guards and a metal gate surrounding it.
Raven orders them to open it up and we proceed inside. A person comes to greet us Raven and him exchange greetings and I say “I don't expect you guys to have blanks, but if you do get some for 9mm Luger and a Beretta with a holster oo and real bullets too” A couple minutes later the guy comes back with a Beretta and 4 magazines. He hands me them and says “The ones with the orange strip has blanks and the ones that don't are hollow point” I say “Hollow point is that not illegal for the military.” He says “Only if people know” I smile and say “You're my kind of man Mendoza”
While walking back to the room I say “They have no respect for you, they have no discipline. What are you doing with them, and you said that they have been on a mission before what was the casualties for our side” She says “Forty-Seven” I close my eyes and say “What is the all-time casualties for every mission they have run” She says “One hundred and eighty-nine” I shut my eyes even harder and say “One hundred and eighty-nine good men and women have died because of their incompetence” I think for a little and say “I am going to take full control of this platoon they will all be stripped of their ranks and they are going to boot camp. One last thing gather everyone in this compound I need to tell them something.”
When we get to the door I use my power to destroy it completely. I pull my Beretta and shot in the air and scream “FALL IN NOW” They look scared and confused I scream again “I SAID FALL IN MAGOTS!!!” They scramble to their places I say “DO YOU MAGOTS WANT TO KNOW HOW MANY MEN YOU HAVE KILLED ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-NINE GOOD MEN AND WOMEN HAVE DIED BECAUSE OF YOU SO SHUT UP AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STRATEN YOUR FUCKING LINES” I say “GUESS WHAT GUYS WERE MOVING” They go to get their stuff and I say “WHAT THE F***** ARE YOU DOING WHO SAID YOU COULD FALL OUT YET” they run back to their places I say “IF YOU HAVE A PHONE TAKE IT OUT NOW” all of them take out a phone. I walk up to the first one and take their phone and smash it on the ground I repeat this until all of their phones are destroyed. I say “LIFE IS NOT GOING TO BE WHAT IT USED TO. NO MORE PHONES NO MORE INTERNET NO MORE NICE SOFT BEDS” I walk around the platoon screaming at them and shouting profanities. I finally come up to a tall guy that looks like he is about to laugh and I say “IS THERE SOMETHING FUNNY MAGGOT” he says “Yeah some shorty comes in here thinking he's the shit orderi-” I knee him in the balls and punch him in the face I then proceed to kick the sh** out of him. The people that were almost laughing before now have faces of fear. I say “NOW IS THERE ANYONE THAT THINKS SOMETHING IS FUNNY NO? GOOD.” I walk to the front of the room and say “SINCE I DON’T WANT TO WASTE TIME TEACHING YOU MAGGOTS HOW TO MARCH FALL OUT AND FOLLOW ME”
We walk out of the charred remains of the door and I ask “Raven witch Platoon has served the most with these maggots” she says “The third platoon” I ask “Where do they stay” She says “Follow me” After a long walk we finally get here and I say to my platoon “I am not screaming right now, but that does not mean I won’t kick the hell out of you so do as I say” I knock gently on the door and a man comes to the door I see rows of beds. He looks at me and says in an angry tone “What do you want” I say “I just want your entire platoon to come out here” he says “Like you can order me” I say “Fine Raven order him” Raven comes into view and orders him and his platoon out. When they are all out I say “As you can see these are the people from my platoon. It has come to attention that you probably hate their guts. So that is why I am going to let you beat the shit out of them right now. Go on punch them in the face” They look at me like I am crazy so I say “Fine if you don't do it I will” I pull out a glove that I secretly got from my new friend Mendoza. It is a nice glove very tough with metal in the finger and top of the hand area it would hurt a lot if you got punched with it. I step up to the first person and say “It will hurt more if you move” and punch him in the face. I step to the next one and she says “You won't hit me I am a girl” I punch her in the face and say “Gender equality is a bitch” I continue doing this until I am face to face with Aaron he looks ready to be punched and I say “You seem to be the only halfway decent person in this platoon but I am still punching you in the face”
I say “Third platoon you are moving to our old living quarters and don't forget to miss the assembly gather everything you want from here leave the sheets and stuff you won't need it” after a few minutes they are gone and I move into the room. I walk into the room and strip the beds of everything and put it in a pile. I say “Raven can you get someone to teach them how to wash their sheets” She says “Yes” I lay on a bed and say “thank you”
I close my eyes and drift into sleep.
