“So you’re the brat who publicly slaughtered my men, and crippled one as a messenger? A kid like you?” A tall muscular man with a large claw scar across his face, and wearing an eye patch of where the claw destroyed his eye said after seeing me.
“The Black Wolf Gang Leader, I take it?” Not bothering to answer his question, and verifying what I already know.
“Rude brat. Let this uncle show you what happens when you mess with the Black Wolf Gang!” He started flexing his muscles across his body, and they started to ripple and grow slightly larger, and I could see an orange aura flow off of him.
Shit! He’s an Earth Soul Cultivator!
Rushing towards him with all the force my body can muster, I channel all the strength into my leg and kick him in the chest to send him outside of the house at least. He did get pushed back away from the house under the dark sky, but not as far as I intended. Study bastard.
I am at a disadvantage, fighting against a Soul Cultivator of the same level as me, but he knows how to use his Qi, while I have not learned it yet. This will be a dirty and dangerous fight, but that’s what all the street fights are where I come from!

He finished bulking up his muscles, and I could feel the force contained in them. I can maybe survive one.. Maybe two depending where he hits. However, I noticed him as I saw him move to rush me.
His muscles have made him too heavy, and he is slow. The muscles made from the Earth Qi enhancement would make even my punches ineffective at damaging him. Think, Kain, Think..
The heavy boulder charged me once more, and moved to swing a heavy hook at my head, going for the kill. It would definitely be deadly if I was hit by that.
“Just accept your death peacefully and I will leave you with a whole body to bury!” He yelled at me, and I jumped backward out of his reach, using my speed to my advantage right now.
Either he is unable to do so, or he doesn’t know any long range Soul Arts which is a blessing for me.
System, surely you can cut me some slack early on right, if you’re to guide me to being a Lightbringer, then I need GUIDANCE!

After around 20 minutes, this behemoth of a man was finally reaching his limits of Qi and his muscles were reverting back to normal, and his stamina was at the end of the line. Soul Cultivator bodies are well above the capabilities of normal mortals, even without training, and this intense back and forth proved it to me.
Taking out the silver dagger that has been with me since I arrived, I waited for the chance to strike, knowing that my stamina was near its limits as well. He was also wanting to end this in one strike, and used the last of his strength to throw one more punch at me. Not moving an inch, I emptied my mind and looked at the opponent before me, almost in a trance. The world quieted down, and I did not even hear him approach me, all I saw was the target of my attack, his neck.
Channeling everything into my dagger, focusing it all on one desire as I looked as his neck: Sever
Not realizing what was happening to the dagger I held, I swung with that one thing on my mind, and everything of mine was put into it. When I saw the blade come into my view as the man’s fist was aiming for my face, all that I was able to see was an aura around the dagger forming a sharp blade of golden flames that radiated light in this dark night.
The golden blade of flames radiating light did the one thing I wanted of it as I swung, it severed.
A long golden arc following the path of swing of the dagger flew off the blade, and severed through the man’s fist, arm, and finally, his neck. The top of the cut area separated from the man’s body, and he fell to the ground, dead.

Before I could even respond to the System, I felt all the strength in my body leave me and fell to the ground. Before I lost consciousness, I heard Anna and the boys running to me and calling my name.
