Arima brought his class back to the PA and ended the day there. At this point, Arima was already the main topic in the whole city, it was just a matter of time before he became a star in the whole continent.
While people were busy talking about him, Arima conjured a space-time dimension and resumed his training to combine the eight elements.
Not that far from him, Night and Lanya were sparring together. At some point, the shock waves infuriated Arima. "Could you stop already? It has been 48 hours since you began! Take a break!" He shouted with a voice that created another shock wave, directly hitting both of them.
Night and Lanya were shaken and immediately stopped. The latter who was in her draconic form instantly released it and came back to Arima's side to sit down. Her lips were pursed as if she was scared to bother him further.
Night shrugged and took the form of a small wolf before jumping on Lanya's shoulder. "Alright, alright. Did you finish your thing?"
Arima glanced at him. "I don't know…" He replied and looked at his hand. He was holding a purple sphere that seemed to contain a really dangerous level of energy.
"What is this? I can feel the power of elements… but why is it purple?" Lanya asked in curiosity.
Arima juggled with the sphere. "It's not purple," he retorted and Lanya tilted her head. Then she saw that the sphere had changed of color. It went from green to blue, then yellow, red… then finally returned to purple.
"I simply blocked it at purple," Arima added.
"Why that color particularly?"
"No reason. Just because I like it."
Night hummed. "So? Why you're saying that you don't know? Shouldn't you know yourself if it's good or not?"
"Well, the problem is that I don't know if I'm going in the right direction. Look," Arima raised the sphere and placed it in front of Lanya and Night. The purple sphere suddenly transformed into a ball of fire, then it became water, lightning, earth, and wind. Each time the color was purple and the energy inside didn't fluctuate.
"When I fused all of the elements together, I got this. I think I created a sort of universal element, but it's useless. It just changes the color and perhaps raises the output a little bit. But, that's not what I was aiming for."
Lanya was staring at the sphere for some reason. "Why didn’t you use Light and Darkness?"
Arima bitterly smiled. "Well, because of this," he uttered and the sphere’s glow brightened, then after that, it dimmed strongly.
"Well, that's what you can expect from black and white. They’re not really made to mix with others. They just make a lighter or darker variant of purple and actually reduce the power of the whole thing,"
“…Then what about doing it separately?” Lanya suggested and Arima trembled.
“Separately…” His eyes widened and he stopped speaking. After a moment of silence, he started laughing, and stroked Lanya’s head the point of disheveling her hair.
"Thank you. I finally know what to do," he said cheerfully and crushed the purple sphere he had in his hands. Lanya groaned though and tried to comb her hair back with her fingers.
“How many times are you going to do this…”
Arima chuckled and looked at Night. "You two get away from here. I can't predict what will happen.”
Night sighed and turned into a dragon again. He grabbed Lanya with one hand and flew off. When he was a few miles away, he turned around to watch Arima.
"If you are not supposed to be mixed together, then let’s try this…" Arima muttered and at his left, two huge spheres of Light and Darkness appeared. At his right, six spheres of different colors formed and joined together to create a huge purple sphere, exactly like the one Arima showed previously.

Afterward, Arima focused on the two spheres of opposite attribute. His sigil started spinning and glowing. He pointed his palms at the white and black sphere and slowly pushed them against each other. When the Light and Darkness touched, the ground below was immediately reduced to nothing and Arima stepped back
"Of course, when you two are fused alone, it's harder, huh?" Arima snorted and took a step forward. "Let me teach you who's the master here."
The spheres started fusing together and with each second, the force they produced kept becoming stronger. After only ten seconds, Arima was already doing his best to not lose control and being blown away at the same time.
The repercussions easily reached Night and Lanya. The former was doing his best to fly away and reduce the damages. Actually, he could leave the dimension at any time he wanted. But he was extremely curious about the result and so was Lanya.
After a minute, the land around Arima had been destroyed for miles and it felt like the gravity had increased by at least a hundred-fold.
Arima exhaled and fell on one knee when he finally managed to fuse the two energies. He panted for just a few seconds before looking up. He was now left with two huge spheres to work with. One was black and white, while the other was completely purple.
Arima stood up and grinned. "Let's see what you can do," he said and the two spheres wobbled. They slowly advanced toward each other.
When they were about to collide, Night's eyes narrowed. "{Hey! Arima! That thing-!?}" He shouted through a telepathic link but was interrupted by a blinding silver light.
He roared, covered Lanya with his wings to protect her and promptly left the dimension. He reappeared in a meadow. His whole body was fuming as he put Lanya down. He was full of injuries and he coughed some blood.
As for Lanya, fortunately, Night had shielded her in time. Now, she was trying her best to heal Night with tears in the corner of her eyes.
He grunted and became a small wolf pup to heal faster. "Fuck! It hurts!"
Lanya grabbed him and started carrying him in her arms. "… what happened?"
"I think something happened that even Arima couldn't predict," Night replied with a sunken expression.
Lanya tightened her grasp on Night. "Is he okay?"
If Night had received that much damage from just being exposed to a light for a few seconds, what could have happened to Arima who was at the source?
Night fell silent. "…He didn't die. That's a certitude. I would be aware of it otherwise. But I seriously don't know what happened. I also can't reach him right now. We can only wait until the rampaging energy on the other side ends."

In a field covered by bluegrass and illuminated by two red suns.
"What's your plan?" A burly old man leading a group of people was glaring at a man with a pale countenance, dark outfit, and sinister white eyes. That eerie man was staring back with a smirk etched on his face as if he was born like that.
"Tell me, Karaskan!" The old man shouted and the ground shook.
Karaskan's grin became even wider. "Come on, Zeus. Why are you so angry?"
Zeus stamped and thunder roared. "What's the reason you came out of your lair like this? You also deliberately leaked your location. What are you planning?"
Karaskan burst out laughing. "Something interesting woke me up. So, I thought I should start to act."
"Something interesting?" Zeus scoffed. "What did you discover? A new way to spread your madness?"
Karaskan snickered. "No, I was threatened. Really. You have to believe me on that one.”
"Threatened? What are you ranting about?" Zeus was infuriated. He was holding himself back from attacking. "Of course, you would be threatened. How many gods do you think there are that are ready to kill you?"
"The one who threatened me isn't some measly god," Karaskan retorted. "It's a Life Hunter."
Zeus's expression drastically changed. "…Life Hunters are extinct. They can't even exist in Planes other than this one. You perfectly understand that, right?"
Karaskan laughed lightly and looked over Zeus’ shoulder. "Azes, what do you think? If there is someone that can explain it, I guess it would be you."
Zeus frowned and glanced at Azes. The latter's expression fell.
"…There's a plausible explanation," he responded. Lying in front of a High God and the Mad God was irrational. His only choice was to speak the truth without mentioning anything about Arima.
"What is it?" Zeus rushed him.
"If a Life Hunter were to leave a seedling in a circuit-less world, it's possible that he could have been hidden from Heaven."
"That's ridiculous," Zeus instantly disagreed. "Even if it was true, in a neutral world, even a Life Hunter wouldn't be able to threaten a god. In the first place, during the war, we monitored all of their clans. None of them could have possibly opened a path to another world in those conditions.”
“But there was one clan we didn’t manage to overpower,” Azes countered and Zeus frowned. “Don’t you remember? Sir Odin even had to get involved to defeat the head of that clan.”
Karaskan chortled and Zeus furrowed his eyebrows. “That clan’s name was…!”
The sky of Heaven abruptly became shrouded with silver light and their conversation was interrupted. Every god present looked up and their eyes narrowed. Some started sweating and shivering. Even Karaskan, Zeus, and Azes were not spared from the shock. But the Mad God started laughing like a crazy man.
"What are you saying now, old man? Who do you think could do this? This can’t be a coincidence. This is quite unfortunate for you, huh? You don’t just have a Life Hunter on your hands, but a Death Hunter capable of ruling every element and even death itself."
Azes secretly smiled while Zeus's expression twisted.

At the same time, on a giant throne room made of cold and blue granite. A man was sitting on the with his eyes closed. He was alone in this massive room. He was wearing a magnificent red robe and his hair gleamed with a beautiful silver.
At some point, he opened his eyes which shined with a beautiful crimson color.
"In another Plane, huh?" He mumbled with an indifferent voice.

When Lanya and Night returned inside the dimension, the first thing they noticed after arriving was just rocks, darkness, stars, and no gravity…
They looked around. "No way…” Night muttered in shock. "The planet is gone."
The entire planet had literally been obliterated. Transformed into dust and rocks. Although Lanya was stunned, she still continued to search for Arima. It was a piece of cake for her and Night to breathe here. As long as they used mana, they could even talk.
A few minutes later, Lanya spotted a peculiar silver haze surrounding something in a spiral. She used her magic to blow it away. What she saw behind made her yelp in surprise.
A silhouette was slowly drifting in space. Long silver hair, deep purple eyes, an expression of absolute tranquility and coldness, and silver lightning sparking around his limbs.
Night wryly laughed when he saw that. "Holy… shit."

"…Death Hunter or not. I never thought that I would see this happen again," Zeus whispered.
"What a great day to be alive," Karaskan rejoiced.
"A new one, huh?" The mysterious King commented and closed his eyes.
The three breathed in at the same time. "A Silver Emperor is born."
