were it all begins

on this night the sky was overcast and a crimson moon hung in the sky, its sanguine light bleary glowing though billowing clouds its faint radiance flooding the land casing an eerie atmosphere to permeate the air. 

on this night deep into an expansive forest a band of entreped adventures made up of rugged men, all sporting warn cammo green clothes caked in mud advance upon there currant target.An ancient temple, or at least the the ruins of one. Its rock foundation was crumbling and its wooden support beems had long since rotted and been hollowed. if not for the deathly silence of this place you'd suspect it to be reduced to ashes.

The adventruers moved with trepidation slowly crawling there ways forward, then out of the blue they stopped there advance. The man in the lead held his hand raised abouth his shoulder, he then slowly turned his head to face his surbodenets and spoke his voice in a wisper. "I've spotted a few pits, properly from collapsed tunnels be carefull not to fall into one and remember this team cant afford any more losses. If we fail this mission we're all dead ok." 

None of them responded all complying in silence. The leader turned back and lowered his hand as they continued forward, in there march towards the decrepit entrance, now half collapsed the crown of its arch missing most likely buried, forming a mound of mud bellow were it was.

As the leader closed in on it and was about to enter, he got careless and made a wrong step causing a cracking sound to come from bellow him and his team. They all looked down there faced masked in terror, as the ground bellow them caved in and they fell into the deep unknown though not before letting out one final ghastly screem.

(inside a secret organisations base)

"leader" a young man dressed in a midnight black suit ran into a large room filled with old antique books and odd knik-knacks, his blue eyes were panicked as he brushed his hands though his unusualy scruffy hair, attempting to look neater, because before him was the boss he so revered. 

The boss turned around his face hidden in shadows and asked "what's the matter" his voice was deep reverberating throughout the room startling the boy to attention "boss the signals from team 1 despatched to the ruins of the labyrinth have disappeared" he instinctively responded sounding panicked.

silence permeated the room casing the boy to shake as fear filled him. silently the boss started to turn back toward his bookshelf dismissing the terrified  boy as he tuned he scurried away releaf All well as disappointment evident in his eyes. When the boss reached the shelf he laughed silently before muttering in his same deep voice this time with more magnetism "how exiting I guess its time".
